Does anyone know anything about Project 1TI4?
I thought they said they would be making an announcement about the permanent sponsor around Paris - Nice time.

Dunno, but I really hope they get a proper name as soon as possible. It's freakin' annoying to hear the Spanish commentator calling them Team Project, or what's worse, doing several cheap attempts of pronunciation in god knows which languages.

I hope the rumours are true and Bosch will be the sponsor. That would be almost as good as having another German team

Rob Hayles is now a Team Sky rider...
...according to the BBC
I know I go on about this a lot, but people outside the UK would not believe the incredible incompetence of BBC Sport regarding cycling. Practically every single piece of "news" regarding cycling has some horrible error attached to it, or fundamentally at the heart of it. I cringed when they announced on the news that Wiggins had won the Paris to Nice race "classic", even if the fact it was mentioned at all was a small miracle. |

1t4i are revealing their new shirt during De Ronde. All signs are pointing to their main sponsor being the fusion of Argos Oil and North Sea Group.

They often demonstrate a fundamental lack of understanding of the sport. I think that (at most) they have one person who follows the sport - when they're away it goes to the wall and you get..."Cavendish struggled on today's Alpe d'Huez stage finishing a disappointing 157th..."
I don't claim to know cycling inside out but at an international corporation should manage to have someone with at least a working knowledge. |

They really should have invested in one in the off season.

If only they had. But it's not that simple. Money to sign a classics leader doesn't grow on trees.

What I meant to say was for Milan-San Remo. Hushovd out, Gilbert out of shape, Van Avermaet had a heel injury, I can't remember any big name but Ballan for this race. |

If only they could find some sort of billionaire benefactor to help them out.

They can dream all they want but the only people making those sorts of millionaire investments are conglomerates motivated by national interest. BMC doesn't represent switzerland enough to attract one, not to mention that the swiss aren't the type to do that.
Bottom line, they'll always be a poor team. They just have to live with settling for scraps.

In other not so surprising news:
"Experts believe up to 100 undetectable performance-enhancing drugs similar to the banned blood booster erythropoietin (EPO) have been designed, German doping specialist Mario Thevis said on Thursday."

100 seems like overkill, I would probably settle for 3-4

lol for sure. But don't worry soon cycling will be dominated by English speakers.
And they'll be all clean, of course.

This is not a nice comment, there are lot of riders who are way overperforming this season and not a single one of them is spanish
