not a great day. Losing Barton and Sprick hurts my team, and they already lost an opportunity for Van Heerden.

Hate these early crashes. Feel very sorry for Wiggle. After Cataldo in the Giro now Popovych in the Vuelta. Hope he isn`t injured. Then a top 10 is still possible.
Also Festina again followed by crashes. Really hope that at least Contador won`t crash and give them a good result here.
Congrats to Spyker. Like to see them winning as they are one of the weaker/bad placed teams in the division but I like their riders in especially Reimer or Schreurs, where I am still disappointed that you didn`t sell me this rider. |

Survived 2/11 flat stages.
Good so far.

Nice report and super screenshots on this stage. And a nice extra is that there were no calamities today.

Nice to see my team so super agressive. Keep it up, guys!
Great report once again, Smowz, I eally enjoy reading it.
The only thing I hate is seeing same names attacking in every stage. It's absolutely stupid..

Same names attacking might be due to from they get in that particular race I think. Usually get that when I play single races, random form is kept for the race and the same guys who got some decent form attack over and over.

Popo wasn't dropped. That was my biggest fear.
Rowe, of the Matt variety, does seem to like getting muscled out of fairly nice positions and then have to sprint by himself from miles out. I doubt he'll ever really challenge in sprints against good sprinters, but there's always a chance of a Top 5 in a stage for a couple of points here and there.

Well, I am not sure if Man-Game uses random form at all, so honestly I don't know if it is like that, but possibly yes.

For fairly obvious reasons - it would be unfair - random form is not used

A stage with no crashes = a good stage.

I think the reason we get the same guys attacking again and again is becuse of the "roles" that the game sets (like we can do ourself when simultating, and when 3d? I don't remember, since I don't really care about it when I race myself), so the guys attacking are the ones with the "free" status

Probably. It's not always worth having TT'ers, as they seem to attack a lot, and always drop because they suck at everything but TT :-)

Awesome position by Grillo, right at the back of the sprint que.
By the way, I've just realized that BaƱos Ballester was in my B team way back and I did not sign him to my A team. Haha, if only one could turn back time. But then of course, I would never put him into the Giro or Vuelta anyway because of my TT madness.

Still struggling to cope with the fact we managed to lose the leaders jersey to relegation rivals Spyker.....and they appear to be hanging on to it..... |

Nice victory, really happy with that. At first i was like, god, Van Stayen picked the worst position ever. My luck was Matt Rowe going early and serving as a leadout.

Yeah, so Matt Rowe does seem to be the perfect lead out man for everyone else stuck too far back at the start. He nearly grabbed a top 5 though, which would have been nice.
