Superbly done yet again from Contador. Also Serpa looks to be a key man for him at the Vuelta. Could be a very dangerous duo!
Too bad he lost time on that stage, otherwise he would have been set to win the race I think. Also a pity the groups melted together. Alberto came pretty close to snatching a 5th or even 4th place here. But in the end 6th here is very very good looking at the overall competition, and even more so looking at how the early stages evolved.
Contador very good. Serpa pretty good. Dees also decent.

Annoying to lose the KoM on the last day, but some decent ranking points from that at least.
Nice to see Iglinski riding well also, while it was a bit of a nothing race for Uran - could hardly be anything but that after the split. In the circumstances 8th is decent, only Contador recovered better.

I'm pleased with 5th, now to see how Arroyo does in the Giro before I pull out the big guns at the Vuelta.

Woohoo, makes up for atleast something, with Keizer not really doing anything notable here. To bad he didn't take any of the first KoM, or he would have won the jersey, but perhaps this gave him the edge over Poels.

Would have been nice to see the team a bit more interested in getting into breaks. |

Well-raced throughout the mountains - bodes well for the Tour.

So, if Taaramae hadn't have lost 2'30 on stage 3, he would have come 2nd overall. Damn.
Not enitrely sure how I've come away with best team, but I'll take it
Well done Smowz, I found this to be one of the more interesting races of the season

YES! Great team effort by Spyker Cars - and awesome showing by Dekker.
A victory ... much, much needed. |

Well, I can't complain about this race, well done Efimkin. 142 point from this race at all, that's way better than I expected before this race.

Nice result by Kritskiy. Pity to lose time on the last stage, but I guess my team didn't chase too much with Costagli up the road a bit, also a bit of a weird tactic. Beating riders like Uran and D.Martin is always rewarding for the team.

Couldn't be happier with Amador's 3rd overall, especially with his complacency in the mountains.
