UCI better improve their ways of notifying riders when they have forgotten/not given their whereabouts. Hopefully, this was a "one-time glitch," but with UCI, you can't be sure about that |

The Alex Rasmussen news is one of the best in a long long time. So deserved that he doesnt get a ban. He is one of those few riders i 100% trust would never cheat to get better results.
Im so much looking forward to see Alex in the Copenhagne 6-days and hopefully in the Giro. Go Alex!!!!! |

It always depends imo. Even if you totally trust him, you never can`t be that sure. I also trusted some riders, which went out bad then.
The problem is, that even if he was totally innocent, then it might be a chance for some guilty guys to jump on his case to get free if they have a similar situation.
Don`t really know what I shall think of this decision... |

Whether you like it or not, it was the right decision by DIF. UCI broke their own rule(s), thus making a case against Alex impossible to win.

Christina Watches - Onfone to announce ''a very strong foreign rider'' today at 15:00.
Since they said the same about the less so well-known Norwegian rider, I don't know what to think. Rasch maybe? Keisse said he didn't sign on his twitter, so it ain't him.

He's missed three dope tests. That is cheating...

I wouldn't call it cheating. He made a few mistakes, and if it wasn't for UCI, he would be penalized

Missing three tests = anti-doping violation, that according to the rules you conveniently defend to say it's right for the Danish Federation to clear him.

Good outcome for Rasmussen, lucky that the UCI made a mistakes (anyone surprised?). But had a lot of bad luck that he was tested on these specific days and not a day ealier or so. I´d like to know how many riders haven´t been at the right place for three times and do not have any missed test...

Rasmussen isn't completely free to go, not yet. Bot UCI and WADA have the opportunity to appeal DIF's (The Danish Olympic Comittee) decision, and UCI's Press Manager, Carpani says they wil definitely talk about it, as this is not something UCI can accept without further ado.

Your point?
Christina Watches - Onfone got a new sponsor and is therefore changing name. The new name will be Christina Watches - Onfone powered by Dana.

Just to clear it up, he missed one doping test and twice forgot to type in his information in ADAMS within the deadline.
That being said, Alex Rasmussen obviously deserved a ban - like he said himself. However, UCI can't punish a rider for being sloppy when UCI itself is sloppy.
Again, to clear it up, UCI missed the 14-day notice deadline not just for the last warning, but also for the 1st and the 2nd. |

How is it cheating to forget to type in information...? I dont get it. Does it help him get better result? Dont really think so. And one of those times he even got tested even though he forgot to type in the information, cause he was at a 6-days race and therefor obv got tested. Who would take to a 6-days race if they where trying to cheat? Would be pretty stupid. |

If you're not available for testing (which you aren't if you don't submit your whereabouts), it's difficult to test positive... |

Maybe your chauvinist eyes would read better if "cheating" was replaced by "doing something illegal" ?
"Doing something illegal" shall be punished, like Rasmussen himself claimed. |

It seems they seriously try to improve their TT skills. That´s a surprise, though
