Whoa a victory. Yes!. Santos has saved our race and secured our rate of stage victories per stage race (1/1). Great sprint there, he had to rely only on his legs with nobody near to launch him, and what a kick he had! Nice that Pires was able to finish in the top15 as well.
Wonderful report mb, you had me going mad with so many twist before the final sprint.
Also congrats everyone. As CountArach as stated previously we all have something to cheer for
Pretty exciting stage to finish this race, and great reporting by mb throughout all 7 stages.
I think as well that everyone's at least a bit happy with the outcome here, clearly an advantage of having few teams.
A stage win and some active riding gave us quite a lot of points considering our lineup, which was cleary one of our worst during the season.
Puma recovers a bit now, we won't race until Cape Argus, which will see a certain Italian competing for the win again
Not sure how I missed these reports til now, but great race for Rapha, even if 100% Me stole a few mentions from MB
2 stages and GC for Bellis is awesome. This sort of race is perfect for him, better still, lots of other teams ignored it. And of course, incredible for Partridge to do so well - and Dowsett quietly taking a Top 10 aswell.
My hope of dominating the African rankings seems well on track!
