first question - no. you can get to the front but then if you hit maintain position, it wont mean your riders stay in front at all
second question - hit the game manual when you first click on the game. it explains the relay buttons

ohk. yea but if you put the dot on low and hit relay can you slow the peleton down?
and but that doesnt work. cause remember the start menu from my game dissapeared. the only way i can get the game open is by PCm.exe.. |

say if your rider is in a break away (or even a one man break away) and you want to slow the peleton down so he can gain time is there a way to do that?
and how do i get to the manual from the cyanide folder. ill probly figure it out but just incase is there a way? |

hey JD,
when i do make a custom team though i thought they didnt show up in the DB. Only the real teams do. and with the transfert thing down the bottom (of team apple powerade, the question i was asking before) how did he get his dates lined up? do you know how? |

and do you know how to get the actual sponsors like in game. the guy on here did it and its the first screenshot of this (https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....pid=437891) where he has the Sponsors tab, a Senor Frogs tab and a Air Canada tab. do you know how i get this? |

geez in demand haha. ill try to answer them all mate
- no you can't slow the peloton down. you can get to the front yes, but then if you slow down the AI can easily overtake you if they want;
- im not sure if and where the manual is stored in the game files. if i wasnt at work, i could save the manual and upload it for you. im away for the weekend so i wont have a chance til next week or if someone can do that on here in the interim;
- with your custom team once created, you will need to open up the saved db. that can be found in cyanide/pcm/users/database/solo (off the top of my head it is something like this path) and then the career you have saved. this opens up your saved db, which will have your custom team added to the last row in 'teams';
- i have no idea about the dates. i have never noticed it myself and to be honest, i wouldnt care if i did;
- the sponsors you will need to toggle with the saved db i mentioned above. have you edited in any way a db before? i know it is straight forward as i had to do it for my career, but without an actual db at work, i wont speculate off the top of my head which tables it is. if you havent successfully edited a db before though, it might pay to read some threads regarding that and practicing it

ohk. they should let you in the game next time! haha! but then again you dont see much people trying to slow down the peleton in real life 
ye i think i know where the manual is now so thanks for your help there
ok yea ill look around in the teams section.
ohk. yea the dates are really annoying me though!! ahah!
and yea i have done stuff with databse's but only small things. like changing names that were all stuffed up (e.g. Cincellara to Cancellara and Graypel to Greipel) but thats all ive done. should i make another thread or something?

so say if i wanted to buy someone from BMC i can offer them a contract in july and they join me in january right? and what do you mean you can offer them a contract as a trainee?

If you have scouts,they are supposed to scout regions...there they will find young riders...you must tell the scout to follow that rider and he will discover his stats(attributes)...if you like him,you can offer that young rider a contract and you must choose that option (trainee) in contract,if you don´t this young rider will join your team at end of season too..
You can´t buy anyone...you can offer contracts,to those riders wich contract is ending...if you offer one contract to anyone in BMC(Phinney) i guess..he will join your team end of season...End of october...but first he must accept your offer...
