I don't know why are the expectation on Wiggins so high everybody thinks he is going to fail ??
He didn't race since Tour and his fitness must be preety low. If he finished in the Top 20 that would be an sucess imo.

I believe he's just here to gain rythm for the Worlds, and test himself in the time-trial. I think their GC man will be Lofkvist again.

VdB is more proven GC rider and Climber than Wiggins, also Wiggins is here to focus and prepare on TT in the Worlds, while VdB is definitely going for GC.
Wiggins never liked to race in Spain becuase of the heat and the course doesn't suit hi mreally much, he's going loose heaps of time on Agrilu, while VdB is more suited to those climbs.
