Feyenoord keeps on struggling, but wins 1-2 over RKC. Ricky ten Voorde putted the Waalwijk side up on front, but then Robert Braber got a red card. Soon after that, John Guidetti and Jerson Cabral scored both and Feyenoord took 3 points in Brabant.
Excelsior does good business with a 1-1 against ADO Den Haag. After 57 seconds, defender Leen van Steensel scored for the black-reds, but ADO still grabs a point thanks to Jens Toornstra. Excelsior shares the last place with VVV now.
Ajax easily grabbed 3 points in Nijmegen: NEC was beaten with 0-3. After a worse first half, Ajax went full on the attack, and that worked. Miralem Sulejmani scored twice and A1 player Davy Klaassen putted the final standings on the scorebord.
FC Twente loses connection with AZ and PSV after a goalless draw against Vitesse. Wilfried Bony and Giorgi Chanturia had enough chances to make it even worse for Twente, but they failed.

Heracles Almelo puts a monster score on the scoreboard against last-placed VVV: 7-0. Goals are made by Glynor Plet (2), Kwame Quansah, Marko Vejinovic (2), Everton and Samuel Armenteros. The huge win puts Heracles in the left row and VVV even more in relegation trouble.
David Teixeira thought he was Man of the Match at FC Groningen - NEC when he scored his third goal 5 minutes before the end, making it 3-2. But a last-minute goal by Melvin Platje saved a point for NEC.
ADO is back on track after a 3-0 win over NAC. Goalscorers were Charlton Vicento, Jens Toornstra and Marc Höcher.
Roda is back in the left row with a 1-2 win at De Graafschap. Sanharib Malki and Adil Ramzi scored for Roda. Yuri Rose made things exciting and at last, Rydell Poepon seemed to score the 2-2, but Pawel Kieszek made a wonderful save to tip the ball over the crossbar.
Ajax finally wins at home again, beating Excelsior 4 to 1. Jan Vertonghen scored twice, but Darren Maatsen surprisingly scored for Excelsior to make it 2-1 at half time. In the second half, there were goals from Miralem Sulejmani and Nicolas Lodeiro to make it 4-1.
PSV's title inspirations are a bit less after a 2-0 loss to Feyenoord. Sekou Cisse and Ruben Schaken scored the goals for the Rotterdammers, who are in equal fourth with rivals Ajax now.
Vitesse slammed RKC back home with a 4-0 win. Goals came from Jan-Arie van der Heijden, Valeri Kazaishvili, Stanley Aborah and, of course, Wilfried Bony.
Leader AZ gets hit by SC Heerenveen: 5-1. Bas Dost scored 1-0, Jozy Altidore made it equal soon after that. But Heerenveen led at half-time thanks to Rajiv van La Parra. In the second half, Filip Djuricic, Ramon Zomer and Luciano Narsingh destroyed AZ with 3 more goals.
FC Twente keeps up with PSV again after an astonishing 2-6 win at Utrecht. Peter Wisgerhof and Ola John scored for a 0-2 at half-time. After he tea, Willem Janssen scored two times, and Ola John laid another one in the net. Frank Demouge and Dave Bulthuis saved some honour for Utrecht, but eventually Steven Berghuis made it 6 for Twente.
The second half of Excelsior - AZ was played yesterday, after the first half was played in November, but discontinued at half-time due to heavy fog. This time the sky stayed clear, but the scoreline stayed on 0-0.
Updated table and top scorers table after Round 16.
On Friday, ADO won over Heracles 2-0, with the result that ADO wins 3 places in a time and are near the left row now. The goals were scored by Mike van Duinen and Lex Immers.
Saturday then with Twente - NEC. Luuk de Jong and Nacer Chadli scored to make it 2-0 over there too. But Twente hasn't got anything on it, because PSV won 1-0 over NAC Breda. Dries Mertens scored the only goal of the evening. Strange was the way Jeremain Lens was sent off the pitch. Lens received a yellow card for kicking the ball away after a foul. Then, he decides to stand in front of the ball at the following free kick, thus receiving his second yellow, resulting in a red card and some chants from the PSV-fans to referee Bas Nijhuis.
AZ is in a winning mood again. After a loss last week, they got the good spirit back with a 4-0 win over De Graafschap. Adam Maher, Simon Poulsen and Charlison Benschop scored for AZ, the fourth goal came from Vito Wormgoor, who put it in his own net. With this win, AZ are the 'Herbstmeister' of the Netherlands, 4 points away from PSV and 5 from Twente.
SC Heerenveen keeps winning and scoring 5 goals, after a 5-1 win over AZ, they played with Excelsior today: 0-5. After 18 minutes, it was already 2-0 thanks to 2 goals by Bas Dost. Dost scored his third just before half-time, followed by 2 more goals in the second half, to make it 5 over the whole match and 14 in the whole season, becoming the Eredivisie topscorer for this moment.

In the Limburgian derby, VVV wins over a sloppy Roda: 2-0. Just before half-time, Ahmed Musa was fouled by Roda-goalie Pawel Kieszek, who's been sent off. The following penalty was scored by Barry Maguire. Roda had a chance to make it 1-1 in the second half, but Mads Junker placed it right in the hands of Wilko de Vogt. 10 minutes before the end, Bryan Linssen placed the ball in left corner to make it 2-0 and the first VVV win over Roda in 26 years.

@ Freitas: Reasonably good. He had to replace Tyton, who left for PSV. Since then, he had some pretty good matches (Twente, De Graafschap) with some fantastic saves, but also some sloppy matches like today against VVV. But he is way more experienced than Prus, 'our' second choice, so he will stay in the first 11 after his suspension after todays red card.
Back to the matches. Ajax had big trouble with RKC, but the Amsterdammers still win thanks to an own goal by Guy Ramos: 0-1.
Feyenoord thought they had an easy opponent with the struggling Utrecht and the confidence grew after an early goal by John Guidetti. But Utrecht proved the other thing: Daan Bovenberg and Edouard Duplan putted Utrecht up front. Eventually, Jerson Cabral had to save Feyenoord: 2-2.

RKC Waalwijk is back on track after an important win against De Graafschap. Michael de Leeuw opened the score for De Graafschap, but Frank van Mosselveld made it 1-1. Ard van Peppen scored in the second half to put RKC in the lead. De Graafschap tried everything to make the equaliser, but the match was decided when Jochem Jansen scored in his own goal, to make it 1-3 for RKC.
It looked Heracles - Vitesse went into a goalless draw yesterday, but Vitesse won thanks to a late goal by Guram Kashia: 0-1.
Roda JC smashed Excelsior with a 7-0 win. Roda came 3-0 up in the first half thanks to Jagos Vukovic, Davy de Beule and Ruud Vormer. In the second half, Roda kept it quiet for half an hour, but in the last 15 minutes, Arnaud Sutchuin Djoum (2), Mitchell Donald and Mikolaj Lebedynski made it 7 for 'the Pride of the South'.
NEC is connected with the middle of the table again with a 2-0 win on VVV. Both goals were wonderful long-range free kicks by John Goossens. NEC-defender Bram Nuytinck collected a red card in the second half for depriving a scoring opportunity.
FC Groningen stays in the race for an European ticket after an 1-0 win over FC Utrecht. David Texeira, who made his 8th goal of the season, was the celebrated man.
