It's worth noting that Evans had a hairline fracture in his elbow, and had lost all GC hopes when riding that ITT. He definitely is a quite better TTer than Andy, but as he somehow always find a way to fuck it up, I'm not sure if he'll be able to make it.

Everyone is saying that Cadel has better skills in TT than Andy... but, this is the "last" stage of the Tour for the GC... and recovery and energy I think are more important.
Last year... everyone said that Contador will take more than a minute to Andy... but there were only 27 seconds between them. Contador was only 12 seconds in front of Andy...
This year I think Andy will defend yellow jersey...
I like all cyclist... dont have a favourite if there is show!!!
They say that Cadel doesn't attack... but I don't think so.
It's easy to say that when you don't ride a bike during the TdF...
Lucky us to have this amazing TdF with full expectatives for this TT and also the green and white jersey are not secured.
My pred:
Stage: F.Cancellara
GC: A.Schleck
Green: M.Cavendish (and all the out of bounds riders)
White: R.Taaramae
Well last year is not a good comparison when it comes to Cadel. He was injured and out of the GC and therefore most likely didn't ride hard. |

Indeed Kumazan. I want to see Evans win it, before i believe it .
He gets a problem with the bike or something like that, typical Evans. |

Mind says: Cancellara
Heart says: Tony Martin
Mind says: Cadel Evans
Heart says: Andy Schleck (he might be big-headed but his 60 km solo effort yesterday bought me, totally deserves a win) |

Also the wind conditions were pretty random

51 seconds on Cunego and 2'12 on Voeckler looks possible but Voeckler is in the shape of his life and Cunego have done some good time-trails before...

2009 last TT:
12. EVANS Cadel 11 SILENCE - LOTTO 49' 44" + 01' 14"
21. SCHLECK Andy 31 TEAM SAXO BANK 50' 15" + 01' 45"
Of course Evans is in better shape now, but Andy has also gotten a lotter at TT's since then. It's going to be really, really close. As close to 50/50 as it gets.

Thanks for the results, my mind is really twisted about this one. I agree with you that its gonna be tough to get 2'12 on Voeckler with the shape he's in, but those 51 seconds to Cunego is the real question I think.

I made the comparison with his rival... last year was Contador... and he was 12 seconds behind.
He lost 27 seconds.
Now it's Evans... but he is in front by 57 seconds.
I just put Cadel for reference if anyone asked... but I know we was out of contention. |

I don't know if I love or hate thoose close time-trails that seems to be every year at the Tour. Two pictures, one of Evans and one of Schleck (Landis/Pererio, Evans/Contador, Schleck/Contador) and then the time between them.

You must have hated yesterday's stage!
Yeah it's very difficult. I don't know who I dislike more. Evans or Andy.
Same problem for me
Schleck deserves it more based on his crazy attack, but ultimately I don't care who ends up winning. |

My guess for tomorrow: Evans will open hard as hell to give Andy bad feedback. |

With Cadel's luck... surely fall and break his collarbone.
Don't forget that Andy has the best TT behind telling him what to do.
If Tour allows him... I'm pretty sure that Fabian will be in the car behind Andy. |

Does anyone have a link from the TT result of the Dauphine? It should be exactly the same route right?

I just hope they don't get the bright idea of having frank sit up for 3 minutes and then pace andy for the majority of the route. |
