Final selection. I'm hoping for Horner to be a little better than last year's 10th place, and for Martin to have improved on mountains. I wish I had more points to spend.

I'll be happy with everything but last place.. hoping for Galimzyanov to suprise everyone and win a stage (or atleast have some decent placings) and breakaways from De Weert and Kiryienka..

Andy Schleck - My GC contender and as a results some stage wins in the mountains

Tony Martin - Really hoping that Tony can make it to the TOP10 and maybe a Win over Fabian in a TT + maybe some stage win after a typical TT'er last kilometre attack

Jerome Coppel - Again i'm hoping he performs well maybe some breakaways particulary on bastille day

Juergen vdB - My candidate for top 3 if he fails though strong contender for polka-dots

Cav - Hoping for same 4 stage win Tour by Cav. And hopefully green jersey. Expensive purchase though

De Gendt - Breakaway rider, hoping for some points by him

Gilbert - Philippe will make some impact at hilly stages and Bretagne Muur. Had to had him

Spartacus - Again points from TTT and TT in Grenoble and just maybe some breakaways during mountain stages.

De Weert - Rather saved money on Kevin. He is a good climer though as a result i consider him as a bargain

Damn this is tough this time around... Here's what I've come up with so far:

Andy SCHLECK [24] LEO
Roman KREUZIGER [12] AST
Robert GESINK [16] RAB
Vasil KIRYIENKA [8] MOV
Mark CAVENDISH [20] THR
Geraint THOMAS [4] SKY
Philippe GILBERT [8] OLO
Ruben PEREZ [2] EUS
Tejay VAN GARDEREN [6] THR

I really want to pick Boasson Hagen, but I believe he got ill just a couple of days ago, and he's an expensive chance to take...

Roman
Andy SCHLECK [24] LEO
Rigoberto URAN [10] SKY
Robert GESINK [16] RAB
Janez BRAJKOVIC [12] RSH
Andre GREIPEL [8] OLO
Nicolas ROCHE [8] ALM
Fabian CANCELLARA [8] LEO
Philippe GILBERT [8] OLO
Peter VELITS [6] THR

I hope I will have winner of the Tour in Schleck, Top 10 riders in overall with Gesink, Uran, Brajkovic, Roche and maybe Velits too, the winner of time trial in Cancellara, the winner of some stages and holder of yellow jersey in Gilbert and winner of some stages and green jersey contender in Greipel. But I'll obviously fail in this Tour.. Grin

David MONCOUTIÉ [10] COF
Juan Manuel GARATE [6] RAB
Mark CAVENDISH [20] THR
Fabian CANCELLARA [8] LEO
Thomas VOECKLER [6] EUC
Philippe GILBERT [8] OLO
Mikhail IGNATIEV [2] KAT

I'm betting for lot of stage wins... and GC of course. Gilbert and Cancellara are almost in every team... but I bet for Moncoutie for a mountain win (also de KoM jersey)... Voeckler to enter the breaks, also Ignatiev... Garate could fight for a stage win in the mountains...

I am quite surprised not find a specific rider in all of your squads as he is very cheap.
I will name the rider tomorrow. Wink

Go on, name him now. I havent picked my team yet, so all these squad lists are useful Pfft

I will probably fail again like in the Giro although I think my team is very strong. (I thought the same in the Giro though)

But this rider is nowhere else and he could give me points nobody else will get. Wink
So he is my joker. (Pretty sure he is on several lists, but not yet on one of the public ones)

Dumoulin? I added him but I changed him with Ignatiev (4 for 2) to add Moncoutie for Coppel (8 for 10)

There are tons of cheap riders. I don't mind listing them as I could be picking them myself or perhaps not Pfft

Kevin de Weert
Jeremy Roy
Yohann Gene
Daniel Navarro
Daniel Oss
Sebastien Turgot

And so on and so on...

Of course there's also De Gendt, Taraamäe (spelling?), and possibly Chavanel (he's in the French Jersey, so he'll ride like crazy).

My team is finally picked. Not especially happy with the mountain climbing side, but looking at other teams here, I think it could compare well. No expectations on repeating my Classics / Giro performances

Taaramäe, and not pronounced Tamurai like they do on Eurosport.

I wont reveal my team, but I am really satisfied with it Grin I have 9 riders from 8 different countries, and that's all the information you'll get from me Pfft
