Gesink surprising everyone with that early attack... But nothing's lost, with a time-trial and some hilly stages too, I think you can try and shorten the gap to Gesink.
Why shorten the gap?
Succes in the TT, Gesink isn't going to ride well there. He doesn't have good form untill the end of june, that why he already was a lot behind probably!

Stage 6 - TT
Stage 6 in Paris - Nice and it's time for the TT. Alberto is 1"49 behind Gesink before today stage, and we are hoping that he can close as much as possible of the gap.
The first SaxoBank rider of the ramp today was Michael Mørkøv.
He was fallowed by Bellis and Jørgensen and Didier.
Baden was our fith rider out, but he got a bad start, at the check point he was only number 67. +1"18 behinde. But the energi he had saved on the flat part, gave him lot's of power in the hill. And he finished as number 16. +"48.
While i was waiting for Richie's start, riders like L.L. Shanchez, Rogers, Machado and LeMevel finished their timetrials. Shanchez was +"27 behinde. Giving him a temporarily 7th place. Rogers finished 2. +"0, Machado finished +"35 behinde, giving him an 15th place. while LeMevel came inn +"44, in 12th place.
When Gustav started his TT, we were getting close to the top 10. Gustav opened in a stadu pace, clocking in with the 4th best time at the 15km point, +"17. He didn't slow much down in the hill. Clocking inn to the best time of the day.
Number 12 on the GC Jakob Fuglsang started his TT quite strong, with 2. best time at 15km. And with the climb at the end, he managed to take a few new seconds, finishing +5 behind Gustav.
Uran also started he's TT quite strong, +"25 behind at the first check.
But behind him, both Sylvain Chavanel and Cadel Evans beat he's time.
Number 7. in the GC, Damiano Cunego was not expected to interfere in the top echelon of today's stage, and he proved that by clocking in with the 34th best time +"44 behind.
But then someone made a new best time at the 15km point. Janez Brajkovic had sat a new best time. 19"41was the time to beat, a strong time from the slovenian rider.
Not far behind, Denis Menchov sat 4th best time.
While Fuglesng passes the finish line to a 2. best time. Porte passes the 15km, 1"00 behinde Brajkovic. A bad start in other word for Porte.
Unfortunately it didn't look like Alberto were having a good day either. Clocking in +"49.
While Uran came in as number 9, +"23, Chavanel did a good TT and came in as number 3, +"9.
Another rider we were expecting to drop a few seconds were John Gadret, he isn't known for his TT skills, and needed maybe a career best to keep his 2nd place. And when he passed the 15km point, he was far, far, behind.
But not to far behind, Gesink also struggled clocking in 1"16 behind.
Cadel Evans finished as number 4, +"10. And Cunego finished number22, +"46.
Then came todays so far best time, Brajkovic cam in to the strong time 37"38.
A few km from the finish line, Alberto and Richie had actually set up the pace. And both were flying up the hill.
While the distance between Gadret and Contador just got bigger and bigger, the distance between Gadret and Gesnik remaind the same.
Menchov finished 4th best +"28 behind Brajkovic. But not far behind came Richie Porte flying. Into the 4th best time, +"26. And then came our captain, Alberto Contador. He finished with the 2nd best time, +"3 behind.
Now we all started vounting seconds. John Gadret finished as number 77. +1"58. But it was Gesink time we were interested in. He passed the 1km sign, it was going to be a close one. He finished 69. +1"47 behind.
Meaning he keeps the GC lead, only 5 sec in front of Alberto.

So close, Brajkovic must had ride superb TT though, but the Gesink stats are not very fair representation of his TT skills though You should win it though, with right attack at right moment. GL
Porte rode good TT too. will be close with Fugslang in GC. Preety exciting before last stages.

Stage 7
Ready for a new day. A fairly flat stage, but the mountain in the middle of the stage can make it hard for the sprinters.
The breakaway of the day started out with Bonnafond (AG2R), Ignatiev (Katusha), Saramotins (Cofidis), Longo Borghini (Liquigas), Mangel (Saur), Ghyselinck (HTC) and Kostyuk (Lampre)
But they were later joined bu Jeanneson (FDJ) and Iglinsnkiy (Astana).
Before the breakaway was completed by Isasis (Euskatel) and Hansen (Omega).
The group had at most 7"23 down to the peloton. Who were controled by Garmin and Rabobank.
As expected, the peloton caught the breakaway, with 7km to go.
Baden stil were in the pekoton, so Gustav tryed to be his lead out man.
It was going great, Gustav were in 2nd position with 2km left.
As it turns out, Badens leg's wasn't good enough today, and when the peloton passed the 1km sign, he was out of the battle for the stage win.
It was now Hushovd who were in the lead. And with 500m left to go it looked like the norwegian was going to take it.
And he did

Stage 8
Bg bummer, everytime i try to play the stage, the game crash with 34km left to go. So i had to sim. I took detailed simulation ofcourse, and it gave a some what suprising result.
Richie managed to take part of the breakaway today. They got at most a little over 5"30 down to the peloton. Were Rabobank apparently didn't care about catching them. So, Richie, Michael Rogers (Sky) and Vladimir Karpets (Katusha) finished 1"00 infront of the peloton. Meaning Richie wins the Paris-Nice, as he was only +"51 behind before todays stage.

I think they took care too much of Alberto and forgot Porte.
Great victory for the aussie and the team!
Congratz!

Good win Anyway Contador would have beaten Gesink and won anyway. Must be surprsing for Porte to win though.
Good Luck in SanRemo. Cooke should be good bet with the from he has.
