Will be interesting to see what people ends up with. I'm pretty happy with my renewals so far. I could probably have earned a little by being more strict with the first wages, but I knew what I would pay at max, and didn't go over that so I'm pretty satisfied.
Looking forward to seeing what will happen during the Transfer season... I have the cap to make atleast 2 good signings, and keep my team the way it is, so I'm happy
Youre definatley in a nice position. Your team did well last season, and probably overperformed their abilities, and with Contador not doing well in GTs, your wage demands havent been so bad.

Indeed... I do need a replacement for Sam Bewley though. He didn't perform quite what I hoped for, but was one of my best riders. So atm I have a couple of sprinters yet to show their potential, and a cobbler who have been a helper for his entire life. I'm a bit on/off whether training will be worth it on Nolf, so the off season will be very interesting I think

In theory, I can afford two wellknown riders within my preset, personal 500K per rider limit.
I think I did good in this. Probably the only time that I will ever have a good feeling in the man game, too.

Seeing as no-one seems to be able to spell correctly/use the correct grammatical term, I thought I'd say it here:
When you use the word resigning, you are inferring that the rider has actually quit the team. He has resigned from his job/contract.
When you use the word re-signing you are inferring that you have managed to convince a rider to renew his contract with your team, and he has re-signed for the coming season.
I hope this clears up a fairly serious flaw in peoples' spelling. More because it always makes me double check what the person means.
I feel duty bound to point out that whether using resign or re-sign in this context, you are not inferring anything. |

Personally, i'm pretty happy with my first ever renewals. Looking back at it, i made one bad decision and that was due to being hasty (i'm in the middle of studying for my exams). But still, would have only made a difference of 10-20k, so doesn't matter that much.

We are now up to 20 completed renewals, with a few others that are pretty close to done. Just 17 to go!

Cobo is being very tedious and demanding a wage increase, despite knowing he won't be able to compete next year.
Unfortunately, there aren't really any options so it looks like I'll have to sign him anyway

Hey, Gajek asked for 75.000, despite knowing he would suck when riding a bike .

Well Madrazo asked for a 520% wage increase, despite not doing a thing last year.
It may be justified, but I don't see how he knows

That isn't half bad actually, if you would compare it with the wages of riders with the same average .

Yeah, hence my debate about this year. He and Tenorio are really good value, and if I can get a competitive hilly/cobbled rider I could try for the top of the division, which I will probably never be able to do again.
Unfortunately none of the options are Spanish.

My team sucked balls last season but the wages were pretty much the same. I demand police investigation
Btw, i don't know if you can answer this, but why was Sella's wage so high compared to last season?

You can buy Florencio :-p Considering the spanish options you might have your Cobble-leader there ;-)

Ironically I have 5 of the top ten Spanish cobbled riders, unfortunately that includes Echarri who is 65.

jolly, I believe there's a random factor too. It's not only about stats and results. |

@jolly As a team you might not have done so well, but Sella did have a stronger season in 2011 than 2010

I miscounted, it is /38. But Santander made it 21/38, so same difference.
