Whereabouts are the rumours from?
And even if Sky have signed Cav for next year, surely theyd still ride for their own rider this year, and then go all for Cav next year so he can ride the British champions Sky jersey at the Tour?

As you all may know, OmegaPharma and Lotto will split at the end of the season. According to Het Nieuwsblad, Jurgen Van den Broeck will stick with Lotto. He is going to sign a 4-year contract there.
Edit: Also De Telegraaf mentions that Cav is on his way to Sky for the 2012 season.

If Cavendish is going to Sky, then maby Edvald should find a new team?

Yep in flemish. Thank god i'm flemish myself . The question i'm asking myself is, if Lotto gets most of the belgian riders, there won't be much left for the omega pharma side

Not that Daily Mail is a credible source, but they report that Cavendish has already signed a contract with Sky:
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/othe...m-Sky.html
Castroviejo is said to have signed with Movistar.
According to Gazzetta, Astana offered Liquigas 6 million € to buy Nibali out of his contract, but Liquigas refused. |

You won't get a lot of quality in football for 6 million €, though |

If Cavendish is going to Sky, I hope we arent about to start having 6 months of reports saying he is, or saying he isnt - as with Wiggins.

I would like Cav a Team Sky but I wouldn't, I would because he can bring success for the team but I don't because I am enjoying watching EBH progressing and would be a shame if he was to take a backseat or a leadout role.

Sky will probably loose EBH if Cav signs for them. |

Gilbert has 5 teams he can choose from:
* Lotto - Belgacom
* Omega-Pharma
* BMC
* Team Sky
* Quick-step
Acording to Gilbert, only Euskatel and Lampre had "no interest"
My guess is that Gilbert is going to Lotto, BMC or Quick-step.
