Yes I´m really looking forward to the next bigger races with Breschel. He might have an awesome season if he continues like that. |

As the season is very long and our team isn´t really one of the biggest, we decided to miss out the whole Feburary race calendar. But don´t worry! In March we will be back with more than one race.
Here are the results of Feburary

So guys, here we go with our second stage race in 2011. Le Tour de Langkawi is the first race in March for NetApp. With 10 stages and many climbs, we will see a really exciting stage race. Especially some mountain arrivals will be interesting to watch.
We´ve sent one of the strongest team squad. Eric Baumann is our sprint captain with Steven Cozza as his main help in the sprint finals. Bartosz Huzarski will be our man for the overall classification. But the competition is quite good with Rigoberto Uran, Petrov and for example Simon Geschke.
Results in 2010:
1. Jose Rujano
2. Hyo Suk Gong
3. Hassein Askari
4. Peter McDonald
5. Amid Zargari
6. Markus Eibegger
7. Alexandre Shushemoin
8. Matthias Brändle
9. Ghader Mizbani
10. Ahad Kazemi
This year´s route over 10 stages
Stage 1
Stage 2
Stage 3
Stage 4
Stage 5
Stage 6
Stage 7
Stage 8
Stage 9
Stage 10

I´m not sure about that..because some stage profiles in PCM do not look like those, I posted from the original website of Le Tour de Langkawi 2011. |

The first stage is almost quite flat with some hilly sections but I think the sprinter teams should be able to create a nice sprint final in the end. Eric Baumann already showed his strength in San Luis so maybe he´s able to get some nice results here in Malaysia.
The stage wasn´t really exciting until the last 5 kilometres when the sprint trains were created. Sylvain Georges was the King of Mountain for today with 8 points. But his main rivals José Vicente Toribio and Zachary Davies were also able to get 8 points. Steven Cozza had a big day today, leading Baumann in a perfect position within the last 2 kilometres.
Baumann wasn´t the fastest in the end but with another podium he really makes NetApp happy! Boeckmans from Topsport took the stage with an impressive acceleration. Simon Clarke passed Baumann on the last metres for the second place.
