Favorites:
- D. Cunego
- E. Boasson Hagen
- G. Bosisio
- R. Gesink
Own goals:
- Win the race
- Min 1 stage win
- Points jersey
Stage 1:
Classified as a hillystage, but should be a flat stage. I reccon it's going to end in a mass sprint. Boasson should be up there fighting for the victory.
A lot of action at the start, Bosisio attacking constantly for the mountain sprints. Therefore the break away is caught pretty quickly. The best rider in the break away is Mikel Nieve (MO 77, HI 77), other than that no real threats.
With 30 kms to go, Cunego attacks.
A group with of favorites is created between the peloton and the front group, with names like Cunego and Pozzato
Nordhaug is pulling hard to catch the front group, and the lead is now down to 2 minutes to the front group, and a minute to group Cunego. We are preparing to launch an attack from Hagen.
Sky setting a pace which Hagen can't attack from, we'll just have to wait.
8 kms to go, and group Cunego still has about a minutes lead.
5 kms to go, and we can see the front group, they now have lead of around 1 min.
1.5 km to, and it looks like the break is going to win.
Dall'Antonia wins in front of Gavazzi, with Boasson Hagen not far behind.

Maybe you could mark your results and click the 100% table. It`s the button next to youtube and spoiler. Then it`s a better overview.
But other than that it`s good. |

Only thing then. You can`t mark the whole line. You have to mark the name, number, team, time to make it fat.
That`s why I just have fat names in my story. |

2. stage
A quite flat stage, but with an interesting hill at the end, and Boasson Hagen should have no problems with it. We will use Nordhaug to up the tempo up the hill. Prediction: Hagen.
Favorites:
- E. Boasson Hagen
- M. Cavendish
- G. Ciolek
- A. Greipel
Not much action before the last hill, when Kristoff and Nordhaug are sent to the front. The break away is in range.
EBH is situated nicely on Haavardsholms wheel. All of the favorites are at the front, it is going to be an exciting finish.
Ciolek, Greipel, Pietropoli and Hagen fighting it out for the victory.
And the winner is..! Goal number one achieved.

Nice win. Quite sure that Hagen can reach 30+ wins this season if you continue like this. |

Thanks! He is taking a break after Gent - Wevelgem to prepare for the worlds. So he won't be racing again until August. |

Stage 3
A completely flat stage. It is going to be harder to win today. I expect Greipel will be harder to beat today, since there is no hills before the finish.
Favorites:
Same as yesterdays:
- G. Ciolek
- A. Greipel
- M. Cavendish
- E. Boasson Hagen
This stage is unplayable, crashes on the same point 4 times in a row. Getting fed up with all the crashes, is it just my game that is this unstable?

This is one of my stages and also just played it in my story without problems.
Strange. Would have been an easy win for Hagen I think. |

It crashes in a town right before the mountain sprint. I have no idea why. I even reduces the graphics setting a lot to avoid these crashes. Doesn't seem to help. |

Thanks! I have to admit that the crashes has its effect on my motivation. It is not fun to play every other stage twice, because of this unstable game.

You could reduce the equipment to avoid many crashes.
For example all Conti Teams with the same frames and wheels. Or even better all teams with the same equipment.
Would make it much more stable. |

Stage 4:
Classified as hilly, but will most likely end in a mass sprint. Boasson Hagen is my bet.
Boring stage, the break away got away on the first attempt, and the pace was slow on all of the hills.
But they kept away from the peloton, and with 8 kms to go, they had 2 minutes on the peloton.
Pozzato takes todays stage
Horrible stage for us. And there was nothing I could do about, I would really do much for a stronger team.
Results:
Stage:
1 | Filippo Pozzato | Katusha Team | 5h06'52 | 2 | Giuseppe Palumbo | Colnago - CSF Inox | s.t. | 3 | Niki Terpstra | Quick·Step Cycling Team | s.t. | 4 | Murilo Fischer | Team Garmin - Cervélo | s.t. | 5 | Matteo Tosatto | Saxo Bank SunGard | s.t. | 6 | Fredrik Kessiakoff | Leopard Trek | s.t. | 7 | Dimitriy Muravyev | Team RadioShack | s.t. | 8 | Raffaele Ferrara | Farnese Vini - Neri Sottoli | s.t. | 9 | Marcus Burghardt | BMC Racing Team | s.t. | 10 | Giairo Ermeti | Androni Giocattoli | s.t. |
Boasson Hagen finished all the way down on a 33rd place, after horrible positioning in the sprint.
Overall:
1 | Filippo Pozzato | Katusha Team | 15h55'26 | 2 | Giuseppe Palumbo | Colnago - CSF Inox | + 4 | 3 | Niki Terpstra | Quick·Step Cycling Team | s.t. | 4 | Dimitriy Muravyev | Team RadioShack | + 6 | 5 | Marcus Burghardt | BMC Racing Team | + 10 | 6 | Matteo Tosatto | Saxo Bank SunGard | s.t. | 7 | Giairo Ermeti | Androni Giocattoli | s.t. | 8 | Massimo Giunti | Liquigas - Cannondale | s.t. | 9 | Manuel Quinziato | BMC Racing Team | + 55 | 10 | Tiziano Dall'Antonia | Liquigas - Cannondale | + 1'18 | 11 | Edvald Boasson Hagen | Moods of Norway Pro Cycling Team | + 1'20 |

I am also not that used into it. But you could edit STA_Equipment and rename most files into just one or two.
Alternatively there is some equipment related stuff in DYN_team but not sure about this one. |

Stage 5
The hardest stage so far, and I definitively need some gaps here if I'm going to win. I might take advantage of EBHs downhill ability and attack at the second to last climb.
Second to last climb and the pack is splitting up. Most important riders are race leader Pozzato and EBH.
The gap quickly increases to over a minute for the 14 man group. We have Nordhaug, Haavardsholm and EBH in there.
Eddie attack!
Attack failed, Trofimov hunts him down.
Catching the break
10 kms left and the peloton is closing quickly with Duque leading the chase.
Minutes later and they are all gathered. Nordhaug sets the pace before the final attack.
Cunego, di Luca and EBH attacking with 4 kms left.
Hagen takes Cunegos wheel, we have to win this!
Celebration fail! I was so sure I had won!
Results:
Stage:
1 | Damiano Cunego | Lampre - ISD | 5h16'12 | 2 | Edvald Boasson Hagen | Moods of Norway Pro Cycling Team | s.t. | 3 | Roman Kreuziger | Lampre - ISD | + 12 | 4 | Davide Malacarne | Quick·Step Cycling Team | s.t. | 5 | Tony Martin | HTC - Highroad | s.t. | 6 | Stijn Devolder | Vacansoleil - DCM Pro Cycling Team | s.t. | 7 | Janez Brajkovič | Team RadioShack | s.t. | 8 | Daniele Pietropolli | Lampre - ISD | s.t. | 9 | Matteo Carrara | Vacansoleil - DCM Pro Cycling Team | s.t. | 10 | Leonardo Duque | Team Garmin - Cervélo | s.t. |
Overall:
1 | Filippo Pozzato | Katusha Team | 21h11'50 | 2 | Giuseppe Palumbo | Colnago - CSF Inox | + 4 | 3 | Niki Terpstra | Quick·Step Cycling Team | s.t. | 4 | Dimitriy Muravyev | Team RadioShack | + 6 | 5 | Marcus Burghardt | BMC Racing Team | + 10 | 6 | Matteo Tosatto | Saxo Bank SunGard | s.t. | 7 | Massimo Giunti | Liquigas - Cannondale | s.t. | 8 | Giairo Ermeti | Androni Giocattoli | s.t. | 9 | Manuel Quinziato | BMC Racing Team | + 55 | 10 | Edvald Boasson Hagen | Moods of Norway Pro Cycling Team | + 1'08 |
Two stages left to make a difference, fingers crossed!
And great news! A wildcard for Gent - Wevelgem recieved! |
