- Antón will reach for the climber jersey, but he'll realize that he can win the Tour and he defeats Andy Schleck and Basso on 3rd. He doesn't win the climber jersey, Mauricio Soler does.
- Sánchez is the main captain at Euskaltel, but after the first mountain stage he'll lose a couple of minutes and end in the first 7-8 riders. Afterwords, he'll win the Vuelta with 27 seconds.
- Nibali easily wins the Giro.
- Breschel wins Milan - San Remo and Flaandern
- Sergio Pardilla ends in top-5 in the Vuelta, maybe even in the top-3
- Saxo Bank disappoints and will doesn't even win a Pro Tour race.

Won't take much to improve on last season

I'll buy you a car if he does that. He'll probably not be able to even ride.

That would be great! I hope he can rediscover some of his 2009 form, but I think it's unlikely.
Some more predictions:
- Lars Boom will do well on the cobbles as Rabo captain, with Breschel not coming into form until Romandie, where he'll win a stage.
- Jurgen Van den Broeck to finally get a win.
- The TDU stage will be Matthews' only WorldTour win this season. He will, however, pick up quite a few wins in minor races.
- Thomas Dekker to win a Vuelta stage.
- Danilo Di Luca will be a disappointment for Katusha. |

Without Contador, they could have a really good season (relative to their strengths) and not win a ProTour race.

Considering the shit of a team they have, yeah. And it's not like they won lots of PT races the last year. 'Just' Cancellara's double in the cobbles. |

Well see the bright side. This could be the birth of a non-french random attacking team. They'll have to gamble a lot to score some notable results

I actually like most of the riders they have. And I love the jersey (not crazy about the eagle, but oh well).
I might have even slightly cheered for them if they didn't have Nuyens. God that guy's attitude grates.

Nope. Italy may be cold, but it's not frosted over just yet.

1. Cav will beat Greipal everytime they race
2. Matt goss will win "some shitty small tour races" cause a massive controversy CAV will get angry mess up the first few stages of the Tour then win the last 5 flat stages doing cartwheels
3. Geriant Thomas will win the british champs again before riding an ok first week at the tour followed by a breakaway win.
4. Bradley Wiggins will do nohting at the tour then say he was underprepared.
5. Rigoberto Uran will some shitty little tour and show sky spend money on rubish.
6. Adam Blythe will then show sky and british cycling what there missing with at least 10 wins this year.
7. World Champs will be won by a puncheur as the course in denmark will end up being a lot harder then first expected
8. AND FINALLY SACHA MODOLO TO WIN MSR THIS KID IS WORLD CLASS!

jt1109, no offence, but you have to be the first person to have made a prediction that was already wrong before you hit the post button

Don't worry about the World Champs. I can guarantee you that it's not harder than expected
It's flat, flat and, well, flat, although it does finish slightly uphill.

Really?
That changes everything. Seriously, it really does.
I'm thinking Boonen, or Hushovd again. Heck, it's a WC, anything can happen.

If Goss is peaking, and trying to beat Cav then he will be a serious threat
EDIT: actually as this is the prediction thread:
Goss to win the WC
Anton, Basso and Nibali to win the GT's
Haussler, Cance, Gilbert and Cunego to win monuments

I'm surprised that no one thinks about Freire for the WC. Seriously,
Freire >>>>>>>>>>>>Goss.
