The Brixia Tour starts and Red Bull's expectations here are very limited - Williamson once again gives his best as does the team.
Our best hope is probably Drapac doing something on the last stage - but we wait to see the profile before deciding that - besides this race is about Bacardi and whether they can make up for a so so U23 performance so far.
The top three in the team standings overall seem safe - I would imagine that Pokerstars brilliant belgian should also keep them up in the top five - the last place is up for grabs but El Al have a french classic for Bar to cash in on.

Nice ride, and nice win.
A bit off-topic but Brixia Tour would be a nice race to have in CT.

All fairly equal on mountain stats led to that finish type we saw a bit in the Vuelta.
Not that these riders are comparable of course Casey Munro was disappointing there are being named as one of the favourites I suddenly had my hopes up... he then does poorly.
It piles the pressure on Drapac on the flat stage which may well be more suited to a breakaway.
If Brixia was in the CTour - I wonder which Italian would be racing it for sure Kami!? It is probably a pretty good one where it is though as a sort of Baby Giro type of race (without taking over the U23 division!)

That is, if i don't promote (hopes) . Nah, it's a nice race compared to Giro del Trentino which are races i like in general.

Didn't have a single rider that could keep up with the peleton on the first stage. Now thats a lousy perfomance.

So, updated rankings after Brixia. Gilannipoor takes back the lead, just ahead of Sgrigna and then an ever present Vandoussellaere.

Pendleton's take the lead from Mercedes, but only by 2 points, while Bacardi leap up to 3rd. Pokerstars remain 4th, so it is Falcon who slip to 5th - and therefore most at risk of losing out in the final race.

Well that pretty much confirms my suspicions that we have not quite done enough to guarentee Avenir participation. 29 point gap to Falcon, not likely to be closed down even if Drapac wins the last race.
Brixia - Red Bull had its chances and went for it on every stage all you can ask really. Munro should have done better on the climbing stage all things being said but it was really close between them on paper.
The top nine all from the CTour stock implies that we are upwardly mobile
El-Al (sponsoring France) and Bacardi (Sponsoring Italy) always looked pretty good value. The others are a surprise wacko has a happy knack of picking up riders who look pretty ordinary only to win out. The Iranians.. well we will see what they can do at Avenir.
Bar must be a big favourite for the last race of the U23 season being in France and all - though that Pokerstars Belgian rider could seal the individual rankings.
This has been a nice litte sideshow SN giving some lesser riders a chance in the limelight.

Due to great performance of young Czech Belohoubek in Italy, we are almost surely qualified to Le Tour de l'Avenir! Shame he can´t dress our jersey one more time there...

another great performance of my leader and his overall win in competition
and if I count well, my team moved up to 2nd by single points ahead of Mercedes and 3pts behind Pendleton´s !!

A respectable end to the U23 division for the Red Bull clan, chasing down the breaks - but ultimately it was too longer classic for the youngsters to hold it together.
Drapac provided the big glory moment with his win and I enjoyed the new jerseys outing. Guessing Red Bull finished somewhere in the top ten.
Williamson may just be worth a punt when transfer season comes around as a stagiere at least.

I might look into boosting some of the top performers anyway, as well as giving them their XP for success.
Rankings are ready, will be posted in a bit. Its pretty tight!
