This and the Contador case is beginning to make me think Valverde was harshly treated, especially if Contador doesn't get banned.
Well Valverde doped and got 2 years (more or less)
Conta doped and will probably get a 2 year ban too (or atleast some sort of ban), with all the evidence leading to the fact he willingly doped.

I hope so, what hurts the most, after 2 years of thinking he wasn't doping, I finally convinced myself he wasn't doping so thank you Contador

Dont forget the fact that Valverde rode for so long, winning races including the Vuelta, when he really should have been suspended.

Yeah that was the more or less part. But I think/hope he won the Vuelta clean anyway. He just deserved to be suspended earlier because it was obvious he doped in the past.

Im not condoning what he did, he had intent to dope, and has been banned, I just think if Contador gets off lightly for 2 positive tests in 1 tour then its not fair.

Fair!? lol
This is elite sports. It's not about fairness. It's about riding as fast as possible. And anyone who've spent more than a couple of weeks on a race bike, knows why! Because riding fast is damn fun, and because not being able to follow the other guys, is your worst nightmare.
Elite sporters will dope. End of story. |

Yes just, yes.
No really, was it proven that he did during the Vuelta and I just missed it? Or do you just think he was doped to the eyes his whole career?

Not proven.
But I imagine Aquarius is rather cynical (as am I) about any rider winning a GT in this age. |

Proven no, if you mean proven as in a positive test or a confession.
But he was as strong as ever during that Vuelta, given he's been using dope before, and performed above human nature level, there's no doubt in my eyes he owes a part of his final victory to doping. |

Also the fact the Valverde hasn't regressed since Puerto suggests that he still dopes.
