So..... 100% Iberian semi-finals, 100% Portuguese final.
It's not often you see that.

I honestly have no clue what situation you're referring to.

Really? Must've been during my bathroom break.

He was trying to cover the ball, so it went out of play, but he misjudged it, fell down and used his hand on the ball. Ref saw it, and gave him a yellow.
Shouldn't a situation like that be a red card? |

A handball is a yellow card unless it's to prevent to ball from going into the goal or to prevent a player from being alone with the ball in front of goal.
It wasn't the first. Was it the second? If not, the yellow was the way to go.

Didn't think of it, but it should maybe have been a red card. |

Well...the Villarreal player would probably have got the ball, and could have crossed it. But it wasn't in front of the goal as such |

Porto is completely dominating this competition. It isn't fair for the other teams to be competing with such a team, we really should be in the Champions League.
I have to admit if Villareal had taken their chances in the first half this could have been an awful evening for our side, but after that first goal there was no looking back, we absolutely smashed Villareal, who I reckon to be the 2nd best team in this Europa League.
That said I hope the "Yellow submarine" doesn't 'pull a Deportivo' next week in their home ground.

Did see the second half and it looked like Villarreal had enough defending themselves. Theyr defense was not good to say the least. |

Lol...im glad Twente isn't there. They lost 5-0 to Villareal. They would've lost 12-0 to Porto |

Turns out Villas-Boas is the youngest ever coach to win a UEFA competition. Not surprising.
Now if only we could hang onto him for another year...
Gonna be hard. Caldeira, one of the directors just said live on TV that agents on behalf of Roma, Liverpool, Chelsea, Juventus and Inter have all asked about a release fee

I believe this is his dream job. I've never seen anybody celebrating his team's goals like he does. More than a coach, he is a fierce supporter. Imo, and hopefully, he will only leave FC Porto when there's nothing more to win and there's still the Champions League. |
