Liège - Bastogne - Liège 2010.
Rabobank squad are the same as the 2 previous classics with Robert Gesink and Denis Menchov as leaders.
into the Cote de St-nicolas, the things start for Rabobank, Juan Manuel Garate and Denis Menchov made incredible work to bring Robert Gesink, he was the one with the best legs (+5).
With 4 km to go, Samuel Sanchez (EUS) tries an attack with Damiano Cunego (LAM) but they were counter by Robert Gesink (RAB) easily. Only S.Sanchez was able to follow him.
And what happend next, R.Gesink keeps attacking and drops S.Sanchez (EUS) behind to take the most impressive win of his short career.
1. R.Gesink (RAB)
2. S.Sanchez (EUS) + 0"
3. D.Cunego (LAM) + 10"
4. A.Kolobnev (KAT) + 10"
5. P.Gilbert (OLO) + 31"
11. J.M. Garate (RAB) + 1'19"
12. D.Menchov (RAB) + 1'27"
Definding champion Andy Schleck (SAX) takes the 6th place in the same time of P.Gilbert.

I play @ hard. I think it's the besy way to let the AI be better. Otherwise those double attacks always succeed |

Giro d'Italia - Stage # 3
Monte Petrano - First mountain stage.
Ivan Basso (LIQ) does not have choice, I lose 4 minutes in the previous stage due to a bike fall. Today if the Ivan Basso Day.
On our side, we don't want Denis Menchov to be in pink too early in the race. We are not ready to start control the race on the first week.
The stage Image.
Race control by Liquigas.
Kloden (RSH) and Basso (LIQ) were the first to attack.
Now the peloton controlled by Rabobank and Androni.
Basso at the finish line by 11" on Menchov.
Good race by our team, Mehcnov (RAB) is really happy on his pink jersey. But for our team it's too earlier. |

Giro d'Italia 2010 - road to the glory
Leader general classification
1. D.Menchov (RAB)
2. A.Kloden (RSH) + 2'41"
3. A.Vinokourov (AST) + 2'46"
4. D.Cunego (LAM) + 3'07"
5. I.Anton (EUS) + 3'10"
6. S.Garzelli (ASA) + 3'16"
7. I.Basso (LIQ) + 3'18"
8. M.Scarponi (AND) + 5'37"
9. J.Rodriguez (KAT) + 6'32"
I.Basso (LIQ) save his giro 2010 by attacking in stage # 4. But we don't think this will be enough. M.Scarponi (AND) and J.Rodriguez (KAT) are now out of the potential winners.
We got to be watching the other leaders and control the race too earlier in this giro. |

Stage # 5
Alpe di Siusi
mountain finish.
We decided to control the breakaways BUT not attack and counter the attack by the general classification leaders.
Denis Menchov (RAB) finish at 1 min from the winner Ivan Basso (LIQ).
Denis Menchov (RAB) race well, yes the general classification is closer for the pink jerseys but he's better than the other in Time Trial. |

Damiano Cunego (LAM) takes a huge attack at the end of the stage to give Lampre another stage win with the leader jersey in 1 stage.
