Haha, they had to stop Lance. This worked well. RadioShack will win team classification! |

The commissaires would have been on the sign on. Why not tell them then?
Hillarious, but stupid.

Yep. It succeeded in getting everyone talking and now we all know why they were wearing the number 28. I wish they could have continued to ride with it, but ah well. |

I totally agree that it's stupid that they are not allowed to ride with the jerseys. But according to the norwegian commentators on the more reliable channel TV2 UCI told them yesterday that they are not going to allow them to start with the jerseys. And that's why they had to change jerseys before the official start.
It's fun, but as you say, stupid. |

no, i was calling the UCI commissaires stupid.
I disagree with the jerseys themselves, but get permission first i think is the rule of thumb.

Nope, UCI rules stop you from changing your jersey mid-race. What ever you are wearing when you show up is what you have to wear the entire way through.
I haven't seen the jerseys, but the ASO made the right decision. |

i'll explain again. I was calling the commissaires stupid as they didn't stop Radioshack from using those jerseys before the start.

Oh, I was of the understanding they did. When did they then, through the neutral zone? |

Yeah, they told them to change during the neutralised zone.
