Transfers belong in the transfer threads (and has already been mentioned).
Other non-Tour related talk belongs in News in July (but yours is not really news. It's a private person who has bought the domain hoping to be able to make some money of it, should Riis Cycling need it). |

I was fortunate enough to go round to a few of the hotels teams were staying in today. Liquigas, Saxo Bank, Astana and Katusha were all staying in one and there was a huge media presence. It was funny passing Saxo Bank and Astana on their rest day rides! Rodriguez and De La Fuente seemed especially friendly, as did McEwen who was just sitting on a wall and entertaining an audience.
I also got to speak breifly to Oscar Freire and Carlos Sastre at their hotels. It was possible to just walk straight in to Cervélo's hotel and there was Sastre sitting down surrounded by his relatives. I also got a great photo of Freire talking to Boogerd and Moerenhout (soon to retire) on the phone.
Sorry to bore you all, but I thought this might give people a bit of an insight. |

Not boring at all
It would be great if you could upload to PCMdaily some of the pictures you got, when you get back home - then we can see what you were talking about

I most certainly will do. The difficulty will be selecting ones to be put on here Credit must go to my Mum though for a brilliant photo from the stage finish in Montargis showing Renshaw leading out Cavendish and Dean leading out Farrar. Honestly, it could not have been any better |

Best rider: Van den Broeck is amazing me. He's not doing anything mega-ultra-big, but he's making all those who said that he's only a top 10 rider with breakaways to STFO.
Best stage: The stage to Bagnères. The tactical riding in the Ax-3 Domaines one was nice too.
Best team: Astana is being awesome so far. And BBox.
Worst rider: Le Mével is seriously boycotting my fantasy team.
Worst stage: Gap.
Worst team: Liquigas and Sky.
Bonus awards!
Most boring team: Gotta be Sky. Where they are, seriously?
Stupid decision of the week: Gadret not helping Nicholas Roche, but going away from the peloton. Barredo committing suicide in stage 16. |

Ok, I won't upload all, because there are absolutely loads, but I'll upload the decent ones. And don't worry, I have a nice photo of Arashiro |
