it's a really great stage now i've got it working (i'm sure the same and more applies to sn's version). if you've got a strong team you can really split it up, or if you have a weak one you can get in the break and hang on.
thanks for your help.

Thanks to Popo rulz on PPDB, a member of the Isle of Man youth team, who helped me out with the routes - some more Manx races.
First, the 6 races that make up the Premier Road Series in the Isle of Man:

And also, the 2010 Manx National championships, also known as the John Hamer RR, along with a custom National TT champs route.

Note: The amount of circuits in each race has been increased, in order to scale the race more towards PCM standards.

Halfords Tour Series
A 10 round televised Criterium series. It is a team based competition where the cumulative placings of each team's top 3 riders are what matters - rather than individual glory. Of course in PCM, its only ever about individual glory - so to make it realistic would require doing the Tour Series classification manually.
The stages are multiple laps of short 2-3km circuits.
As deleting the KM to go banners in the Stage Editor does not remove them in game for me, I have put them all at the start so they are out of the way.
Also, the profiles suggest that the series is full of hilly races. It is not - this is a major fault of the way PCM10 profiles work. They do look more accurate once in game though - and if Ive given it a flat rating, its because when you play it, you will see that the route is almost entirely flat.
And while the left hand side of the profile says 50km - they are actually between 75 and 80km long.

Ras de Cymru
Not the highest profile of British stage races, but as Rjc can back up (he has raced it) it is a tough route, and an all rounder with a strong team will be required to win it. Starting with a testing prologue, including a couple of hillier stages, a TTT, and a race ending mountain stage - who said Britain was all flat?

It looks great. The profiles do look very tough though.
Your British DB v2 is gonna be awesome.

Version 2 of my British DB will have 46 riders from the Isle of Man, spread over 7 teams (4 of which are Manx).
Mark Cavendish, Peter Kennaugh, Jonathan Bellis, Andrew Roche, Tim Kennaugh, Mark Christian and Christopher Whorrall are probably the best 7 of them.

Very nice. How steep is stage 5 in the end? Looks steeper then Keuteberg or Cauberg. |

Thanks Montolivo
Roturn:
If we ignore where it flattens out at the top, it averages 9.37% for the first 1.3km of the climb

British GT looks great - sad the TOB will never be able to afford summit finishes (unless the scottish ski stations become unfathomably lucrative). Also sad there's no local stage for me.
The 2 rases also seem cracking.

Just realised there's a staged to Snake Pass. Great idea that. Shame that's all there is in the peaks.
Does it go near Mam Tor/ Winnats Pass way? |

SN: Looking forward to trying out all of these excellent stages you have worked out. I am currently building a lot of little mini tours in the south of England.
Regarding the Grand Tour of Britain: 3 stages on the Isle of Man seems excessive but understandable considering you have obviously spent ages on building the scenery for the IOM in another race. Love the stage in Scotland starting at Fort William, know that road and the stage before it. Wish you could make the riders climb Ben Nevis!
