What's the probability of this leading to consequences for Barredo or Rui Costa? |

Two fights in 6 stages? What's in the water in France this July?

Renshaw is really worth his weight in gold.
Cavendish said in an interview that Hushovd must be kicking himself for not taking Renshaw with him to Cervelo.
It would have been easy for him too. Since Hushovd and Renshaw is so good friends he could just have asked the Cervelo management to sign him.
Hushovd did say at the start of last year that he told Cervélo to slice a bit off his contract so they could offer Renshaw more, but still Renshaw wouldn't sign because Columbia were offering a massive amount.
Then, Cervelo sucks.

Because they have a much smaller budget than most teams?
That's ass backwards logic.

Either having minutes added to their time or being excluded of the race. |

Usually I'd agree, but since Hunter and Fuglsang are still in the race, I'd say the organizers aren't very inclined to exclude anyone.

According to Norwegian media, they both got a fine of 200 Swiss franc.
Barredo should get the price for most aggressive rider |

Costa and Barredo won't be excluded, they will both pay a fine and that's all (that's what I read in velonews.com) |

Anybody else feel like Hushovd is only in Green because he sucked wheels on stage 3, and has since sucked in the sprints?

He didn`t even suck.
Why should he work when Evans and Schleck need time and Cance is in the group. Hushovd and Thomas just had to wait for the sprint. Probably he would have won if Contadors group catched them, so he didn`t care. But this belongs to another thread.
He wears the green jersey because he is the best points rider. He avoids crashes and climbing hills quite well. It`s a point jersey not a sprint jersey, so he deserves it.

No, I feel like Hushovd has the green jersey because he has had the best "tactic" to score the most points, that´s what it´s all about right? |

There was no point for Hushovd to help Andy and Evans win time over Sastre in the third stage so he didn't help them.
But I think that after that stage he was so sure that he has already won the green jersey that he didn't give it all in the next sprints.

(raises hand)...got blocked..keeping himself when power will be needed is all just smoke around it. I realy hope that guy who is more like sprinter will collect it at the end |

Probably, but as stated, there was no reason for him to work on stage 3. |

I just think he isn`t better than this at the moment. In a real masssprint a place between 5-10 is maximum in my opoinion. He lost his end speed for his allrounder abilities. |

Decent stage. Exciting sprint but most of the day was real boring. If I had to pick a winner in the fight it would have to be Costa, with that strong right jab before the referees called the fight off.

Hushovd said he was really tired after the Arenberg stage, and have not been able to go for max in the sprints. Today, though, he was just to long behind. I think he will win a stage soon.

The only chance for him to win is a more difficult stage without Cavendish/Petacchi/Ciolek/Hagen/Rojas in the first group and this will never happen because at least Hagen and Rojas will climb every hill Hishovd is able to climb.
