What's the deal?

It is obvious that Columbia is going to work for Rogers when the time comes, not 100% for Cavendish like last year. Hurray for that!
they have lack of mountain guys for Rogers..and Cav. is wearning HTC nr. 1 |

I usually like Dean, but he did an awful job today, ruining Farrar and Petacchi sprint. Great win for Cavendish, he can also thanks Renshaw, but I guess they didn't really made some new friends today
And once again a good result for Turgot, he's a good substitute for Bonnet. |

Well done Cavendish, and definately well done Renshaw. Great leadout. Nice to see the emotions coming through on the podium.
And well done Boasson Hagen. I think he's showing his potential once more. A good sprint, coming from behind, he probably had the highest maximum pace. Thomas did a good job for him.
Hushovd was just as expected, he didn't stand a chance in a pure sprint like this.

Very good sprint from Cav. I think Farrar would have taken it had he not been hurt. He clearly struggled to get up and tug the bike back and forth.
My bet is on a break for tomorrow. |

Deserved win, but i cant help feeling we didn't get a deciding sprint. We didn't get to see if Cav was actually stronger than Hushovd and Petacchi since they were stuck somewhere behind Farrar's backwards cycling.

Rogers is having the best season of his career + Monfort, Martin, Sivtsov
It's not like it would be his first top10 in a GrandTour

I don't care if you hate Cav this is one of those moments you praise, compliment and acknowledge that he was the best sprinter today. A truly deserved win.
My bet is also on a break tommorow.

Hushovd was not boxed. He was at line with Farrar and Hagen, he had the opportunity to sprint, he tried, but couldn't make it. |

Then just Petacchi. Farrar did slow people down though.

I probably think Hagen could be a contender for the green if he had been given a free role on each stage. Twice 3rd when they've focused on his chances 3 times only. Impressive!
I think he could have got a top 10 in the mini-roubaix aswell if he'd been allowed to try. He's there as a teammate for Bradley mainly though, so he's doing good. Also taking points in TT's in the future will be a big advantage for him.
Happy for Cavendish winning finally
Farrar should just sit at the peletons tail untill he's fit, ruining for more than only Dean and Hunters chances to do something.

What the hell is Garmin doing? They got Hunter and Dean in top 5 yesterday and today they sprinted for Farrar.. |

Lol. Hushovd chose Farrars wheel instead of Cavendish wheel, which costed him a top two placement. When Hushovd tried to go for Cavs wheel, Farrar jumped in infront of him, and made him loose the theird place. A shame.

Hushovd had to stop pedaling for a second when he was boxed between Farrar and Hagen when Farrar changed his line. He lost at least one or two placings because of this. |

Nice to see that the Top4 today were all U25. This will be the next generation after Zabel, Petacchi, McEwen, Hushovd...
Like to see more duels between these guys in the next 10 years |

All 4 have been projected to win a green jersey in their career so yes it will be good. If Rojas and Ciolek could get trains it would be even better.

It was a great lead out from hunter today, but Dean and Farrar didn't have the legs to turn that in to a win for Garmin.
