Thor Hushovd should have 81 in downhill and 71 in hill. Been watching him a lot this year. And he is becoming a very very good classic rider.
Just me or?

Hmm, in my PCMdailyExpansionPackPublicBeta2010Champions.cdb Hushovd has 83 for hills and 73 for downhill ... so you would recommend to lower these rates?
Anyway ... not even that bad idea. While you compare his pure results of year 2009 to the results of this year, then you have to assume that he got stucked in any way ... at least not got really better
The listing to compare: https://www.radsport-news.com/sport/te...er_216.php |

You mean the other way around. He doesn't have 83 in hills |

You or someone else has made that change. In the original Daily DB, he has 73 HI. |

How much should Hushovd get in Sprint?
I would say more like 78 after these stages...
Team Europcar !!

He hasn't trained on sprinting in over half a year because of his broken collarbone. I think he will have most of his speed back in the last week of the Tour. |

Still it's a long time since he has showed his sprinting talents.
And 78 is not bad as long as he has a good flat stat it makes him dangerous.
(I played the Giro and Pozzato was always in the top 5 of flat stages with 75 in sprint but 82 in flat. In that Giro most of the famous sprinters were there)
Team Europcar !!

As someone mentioned before already ... the single sprint value doesn't make a good sprinter yet.
Just a minimal uplift of the hill or flat values and some rider like Hushovd could get kinda unbeatable soon, thought ... so it might be a little dangerous to keep the realism when you improve those values for him. |

The only way Hushovd is avalible to win the green yersey is to take points in the mountains and i would say: go to a breakaway in all of the stages Hushovd cant win by just stay in the peleton.
Im on the edge... of glory

You misunderstood me I didn't mention improving any stats it is just that Hushovd has already very good flat ans hill stats. This is why I think that, to make it more realistic, we should just lower his sprint stat without changing the rest and he will still be a dangerous sprinter...

how 'bout changing decline age to 40? i know it's not very realistic that all riders keeps their stats so long, but it's much more fun to have the older riders as long as possible.. i changed it on 2009, and there is much more fun signing the old guys (35+) and know how long you can have them in your team before the stats start declining.. |
