I wouldn`t erase too much of the standard face. You can see some hair of the bottom picture. How long you have to blur is just training. It becomes better and better with each picture.
Juri`s pictures are still much better than my versions. You can make much more to equal the colours than the brightness and contrast, so just try a few more things every time.
Most important is how it looks in the game. If you work quite well, then you will see a good face and good sides.
If the two colours are still too different there will be ugly stripes on the side.

It would be a nice thing indeed. But it`s much harder than real people to find good colour transitions for a cartoon face. |

No chance for Cartoon faces. The game totally ruins it. Because of the unrealistic eyes, nose... it doesn`t look good.
You see Homer`s nose and the lower nose automatically set by the game.
You can`t strech his face that much, then it wouldn`t look good neither.
