Vogondy in a TT?? WTF?
Wasn't he in the top 10 of the Dauphines' TT?
Anyway...still... |

Against F.Schleck +0.56, Christian Poos +1.43 and Ben Gastauer +3.10
He already won it in 2005 Elite and 2004 U23. |

Anyway...still... You obviously know Vogondy is one of the biggest pontential among French riders of the 2000's, isn't it ?
It's just a shame he was too lazy or had bad objectives, etc. and then he had health problems not that long ago. He'd never have won TDF whatsoever, but might have top 10ed in bigger classics or one week tours...
Nothing shocking in seeing him winning a TT designed for punchers, actually... |

He's not a horrible TTer. Just not very good for a top-GC man. |

Last year in the TDF he finished 18th and 21st in the two ITT.
31st in TDS recently.
I am by no means claiming he's good. But he usually finishes in the top 50.
And, in this case, he had very little competition.

Did Jack Bauer complete the New Zealand TT within 24 hours?
(Sorry if this joke has been used before by people more clever than me.)
Edit: I meant RR. Honestly!
