Abarca Sports, owner of Valverde's team, called the court's ruling "a confirmation of the position sustained permanently by Abarca Sports about the irreproachable behaviour of Valverde during his five and half years career with Abarca Sports."
wait.. what?
edit: I didn't emphasise the what enough.
wait... WHAT???

Exactly the average fanboy position: "BUT HE'S NOT DOPED SINCE HE'S IN CAISSSE!!11!". The CAS resolution says that he'll keep all he's won since Puerto, because there are no proof that he was doped when he won that. So, unsurprisingly, those who invested on that achievements are now shouting proudly how 'legit' they are. |

Not what I was saying. The team have stood behind him over the last few years, but now "Oh, we were against him all along"
Seriously... WTF?

The team have stood behind him because his 'offense' was before he joined the team. The team position have been pretty much this, just they now can talk openly about it. |

What else did you expect? There should be no respect for any cheaters, espiecially cheaters who should have been banned a long time ago. |

I'm not quite sure where it says that they were "against him all along." All they did was state that his behavior had been fine since joining the team, which seems like the reasonable PR thing for them to do. |

Why did he not get a 1 year ban like Basso? Did Basso cooperate? |

I think Basso actually helped and gave the name of the doctor or the doctors location or something like that.

I really hope he swallows his pride for 5 seconds and just admits he was wrong, then he can come back with some dignity like Basso.
Also, Evans should ditch the tour this year so he can go and win the Veulta now Valverde is gone. |

Fucking Puerto!
If we'll look into it normal court-wise - is a blood bags with someone's blood an absolute evidence of his doping? No! The evidence may be only restricted substances in rider's blood that was took from him.
