one more question: is it possible to add variant stages from Longplay DB whitout losing real 2010 stages? I mean to race real tours along the first season, and than to have all the variants included in the other db.

and more: now that Valverde was definitely suspended worldwide: are you still in time to add it in the new update?

AiZaK: We lowered his speed for the V1 since we didn't want him to compete in mass sprints along with Cavendish. So no, it won't be changed back.
Rapace: You can add variants to the PCM.daily DB as you like. It won't affect the 2010 season. That said, there's a reason why we didn't add them ourself. I remember having lots of problems with pretty much any of the stages that I tried (loading problems, oddly looking stages, etc.) - which is not surprising, considering the fact that many of the stages are taken from PCM06/PCM07.
Concerning Valverde, it'll be my pleasure to add his doping ban to the game

CrueTrue, I know Valverde is not Cavendish, Hushovd, Ciolek, Haussler, etc etc... I KNOW.
But Valverde SPR 68 is very little. I think 74 SPR is perfect.
Thanks for your work!! |

As I said: If you give him 74 SPR, he will participate in all mass sprints, and that's not realistic since he's not a sprinter. |

If you are not happy about it then you can just edit it yourself.

He is going to be in the database, but he will have an injury that will last for his entire ban so that you will not be able to use him. |

I noticed another small bug: the strange market of teams like liquigas or lampre, which buy a lot of Polish and Slovenian riders respectively, or also RadioShack and Katusha doing the same whith Spaniards and Italians respectively. I know this can be easily edited by game-editor, but now that I tried I had a lot of bugs, as that if I launch a new carreer whith the edited db, it immediately crash. Is it possible to edit teams market preferences in another way? I hope to have explained what I mean
P.S. maybe the bugs launching a new carreer it dipends also by having edited calendar preferences of a lot of teams. But even if it is, the question is the same: is it possible to edit calendar and market preferences of the teams in another way?

What was wrong with the settings as they were?
Changing them shouldn't crash the DB, unless you have done it with another editor than the Full Editor. |

this time I used basic game-editor. I'd just want to make even more realistic the choiches of teams concerning races to do and kind of riders to buy |

From the front page:
As promised when the 1st version was released, we'll be releasing an update to our 2010 database soon. The usual beta version is expected to be ready in a couple of days while the final version - and our very last release for PCM09 - will be released c. a week after the beta version.
The update will contain a stats upgrade (the last changes were done after today's time trial in the Giro d'Italia), updated 2010 shirts and plenty of new race leader and national championship shirts and a new equipment setup. A few teams have been deleted and replaced by others. We've also updated a bunch of races, so they now have their 2010 profile, including the Vuelta a Espana. Lastly, we've of course been going through the bug reports and fixed them.

The thing with doped riders in the middle of the season, will work the same way in the update as in the first version, right?
And furthermore, when is it going to be released? We're some who can't wait

Are you blind? In a couple of days (i.e. 2/3) for the beta, then a week later for the release.
Please, please, please, actually read. It makes life so much easier.
