What!? My team can sprint all of the sudden and Vanoverschelde is giving me results!?
I quite like it
Purely thanks to Alex Rasmussen I feel.
Yeah well he does need to come through for me in particular this race as he doesn't stand that much of chance of making it to the finish anywhere outside Qatar

Great lead - out by Dekkers there but Van Stayen missed the decisive move
Van Stayen's goal was solely to finish ahead of Corioni the sprnt didn't really mather to him

Okay, so you mean Lipton?
Ah yes ofcourse... Lipton, Domina, you, La Gazzetta... Those 4 teams I think will be the ones holding me off

What's that? The other Ford is better than mine? Don't think so pal.

Van Stayen was in a perfect position to take some bonifications and a better GC place and he stops...
I'm still hoping that he will be able to perform better in the last 2 stages

Serebriakov was in a quite good position for the sprint, but had apparently used too much energy earlier on the stage. Shame |

Too bad Gretsch wasn't able to snatch out the 2nd place, which would've made him rise highly into the top 10 (I think). Sam Bewley didn't quite make it, but overall a very very nice stage from our guys. 6 guys making it through the tough winds giving me a decent run just outside the top 10 with:
10th
15th
16th
17th
20th
25th
Would be very happy if I could get a guy into the top 5, but if not I guess this is alright. 200pts from GC would be decent seeing that most points are given to Auber and Sony Ericsson.
Looking very much forward to the final stages

Aaahh camon that was so close. Really good stage for Energie, even though we didn't get anything out of it.
Camon boys, you'll get something out of this, just keep trying
EDIT: and what's up with Duque spending his strengths in a backward-attack?? I guess we had a very good candidate for Man-Game's moment of the season.

Damn, that seemed to be a perfect stage for Philips - but it's looking better for Serebriakov. First top 3 of the season, Serebriakov closing in on the top of the classement and plenty of riders in this stage's top 10.
I got to hate the gap system in PCM, though |

It looked like the perfect stage. Would've given me 4 riders in top 10 but somehow Bewley keeps fucking up the sprints and the other group clinging on in the end making this another shit stage for us...
COME ON BEWLEY! You are perfectly placed every single stage...

Had hoped for the overall win after stage 3, but a podium place in a race where I didn't really expect anything will be extreme welcome.

I'd just like to remind my team that we are in fact racing in Qatar.

My domination of the top 10 overall is fading away...
