Nice to see finally my jersey in some action. Nice sprint by Casper, but what a pity that he was only 6th - first place without points. Anyway, there could been a time difference between Casper and Bellis. So I'm looking forward to next stages, I hope finally for some points.

I was hoping with a sprinter like Rowe my team WOULD be on the front, and from there lead him out. But hey, he's young. Got a lot to learn eh?
Trying to provide your own lead out for Rowe would only end in disaster - unless it was Ignatiev or Ponzi doing the leading out. You just need him to pick the right train, i.e. the one at the front, rather than the slower one further back
Oh and CAVENDISH!

Great to see my team in action!
i couldn't ask for more than the riders having a go at the breakaways. I think Impey got caught up at the end as well, shows what happens when you don't buy a lead out for him |

Stage 2 was interesting. my riders fail in the sprints, but at least a few of them are keeping up at the front of the peleton and getting some spotlight, unlike Impey! The sprinters need to get their act together. |

Good stuff from Steegmans. Getting better and well positioned. Crucially some bonus seconds too. But, Vespa want more.... |

btw I think all my team waited for surely injured Dumoulin after his crash in stage 1
as nobody from my team finished in peloton, I smell another chance to join long break

A huge amount of luck for me on that one.
Absolutely thrilled to get a stage victory in this one. Best I hoped was a a top 5 somewhere and hopefully a rider to get in top 15 overall.
Four stages left - next one looks nasty at the end. Though when I have play PCM Daily never timegaps...
Steegmans, Bellis, Davis perhaps? |

Nah, it wont have been Dumoulin. He isnt classed as the team leader, so if he was injured, you wouldnt have seen the whole team drop back - certainly not the other sprinters. It was probably Guillen who they came back for, while if Guillen was dropped, its a fair assumption that Van Loocke was also dropped at a similar time.

According to start list and overall average skill, Dumoulin seems to be a leader here...you are probably right though, if other riders like Maaskant or Saramotins (Guillen and Van Loocke had to be dropped at any case in climbs) waited for him, all of them would be probably finish with same time
but it´s not important, history won´t ask why, bad results show it all...I expect tough season for me looking forward to next report and hope to see Pokerstars jersey in break again...

Still not a surprise EL AL has done nothing but get in breaks and attack for the occasional KOM point. I'm waiting for Old Wilungia. |

The team's getting there. It's like with team Sky, you have to settle into a rhythm. So, last stage win?

i hope they switch focus to the KOM or something now. The riders i had in the top 20 of GC all got dropped. Impey has been awfully quiet though, maybe even too quiet. Watch out for him |

Willunga's going to be an interesting one. I hope Juan can retake the lead before it though.
