Evans, Freire and Quinziato are underway, albeit by car.
Now I guess that one of those 3 will win all 3 classics
They could be the only ones to show up.

Kroon pretty much lives ON the Cauberg, so it would be very weird if he doesn't make it. |

Wiggins, Sastre, Valverde, LL Sanchez and Gustov won't make it to the start of AGR, due to the ash cloud. |

I'm not 100 % sure about Valverde and Sanchez. I read it on a dutch site and so far it hasn't been mentioned anywhere else. |

Since Cancellara won't race the AGR, then I'll go for Gilbert/Kroon/Kolobnev. |

Im not an expert on broadcasting technology, but im guessing they cant use motorcycle cameras because the signal transferring that get the signal from the bikes to the big place where its needed, are in helicopters.
Then what are the odds of national TV commandeering local telephone masts to serve as temporary signal transferrers?
I think its possiblye, but im not entirely sure it can be done in this little time.

As I told issoisso on MSN, according to a science blog I read earlier today, there shouldn't be problems for 'low-flying'. The ashes are in the height of c. 4.000 to 6.000 metres, so as long as you fly in a lower height, it shouldn't be too risky. |

Actually it seems most of the ash is on my kitchen window as it needs to be cleaned. I do no live four kilometers in the sky.

The problem is that Dutch authorities have closed their entire airspace, including low-flying planes and helicopters (unlike Belgium, for instance). NOS (Dutch broadcasters) are hoping to get a special permit from the Dutch government, but they won't know more before tomorrow morning. |

Kenny van Hummel just retweeted a message from someone at Dutch Eurosport, who says their won't be any live images of Amstel Gold.
RT @dnelissen: NEWS for all international followers no tv production of the #AGR. Eurosport shows LIVE 8th stage of tour of (TUR).
Others are denying it. I have no sources inside the government, so I don't know who's right.
