ayup. I'm using the 2007 Hannes editor, though. I couldn't get the PCM 06 editor working.
Anyway, as long as I know he exists where he's supposed to, I can open up bidding.
Thanks! |

You really should use the official editor for 06 - it works just fine

One last question from me and then I'll be off your backs
For instant, if I sign a free agent, who I pay 30k for. How do I then adjust my budget when that deal is closed? Now, I've downloaded the budget sheet you've made (which is great by the way), so I guess the first thing I do is typing in the rider's name and then his status. Then I type 30000 in the 'Fee' column, right? But what do I do about the contract column? That's designed for rider's wage right? But I don't know his wage, or is his wage just the 30k I offered and then there's no fee to be paid as he's a free agent?
Please bear with me for all these questions, I just want to get it right |

Nope, he's a free agent - fee is 0, just type in what you bid for him as his wage

Okay... so what happens if we have change left over from this insane transfer business? Do we keep it for next year? Does it go away? Do we need it for other things?
Is the point to spend all of the money you have? |

Its a good idea to not spend all of your money, as if you have made a mistake with the budgets, youll get penalised

It will stay over until next season, but I suggest you try to spend as much as possible

Okay, and one last question...
What happens if, at the end of the transfer period, I've "won" 16 riders in addition to my starting five? That would put me at 21 riders, which is over the limit. Lashings? Fines? Do I just dump one of them? |

You can put whatever you like in the status column. I've been using it to keep track of what type of rider I'm looking at. I imagine the intention was to either use it to keep track of what type of contract you're working on (steal, transfer, trade, etc) or to keep track of which riders you've won.

Question about bids:
Is it possible to retract a bid? I'm talking about the small-potatos bids--I'm the only bidder on a rider, for example, and the bid is 30,000
? |

Its not possible, no. You should have taken that into account before making too many bids.

What'll happen if you close deals on more than 15 riders? (not counting the compulsory 5 riders) |
