don´t worry, (at least in PCMdaily2009 DB) almost everyone who asked for WC for Giro is invited...in my game only 11 or 12 PT teams joined the race and 9 or 10 teams (including me) asked for WC
btw impressive win with Rodrigo Garcia...very nice! |

Stage 3
Vegas del Genil
Flat stage before last hilly stages.
Mass sprint it was..Bruno Lima is leading. Garcia follows..then Boonen, Vicioso, Óscar Sevilla. Garcia plan is wait as long as possible..
But Boonen do not want to make any mistakes today. When O'Grady started to sprint closer from brhind..Boonen made he's move. Garcia passing Lima at right side.
Boonen is gone..Vicioso passing Garcia..
There is no doubt today..Who is best sprinter. Tour leader Tom Boonen has taken he's first stage win. Tomorrow will be hard day for him to defend it.
Garcia 3rd. is not bad. He has been great in sprinter role. Interesting day also for Galicia tomorrow..who will be better Mosquera or Da Pena.

Stage 4
Marbella
First serious atack after early breakaway..Vazquez atack. 81km. to go
Best young rider Chuzda counter...
Final climb..before long descent and flat finish Vicioso atacking. This is realy serious. This rider is after podium place..
Mosquera has free role today..he decided to test a legs. Cancellara follows..
..and descent..lead 4. Cancellara, Mancebo, Zaballa, Mosquera. Vicioso is chasing and closing fast..
Now Vicioso has rider to work with..Barredo has cought him..
..and they made it. Just before flat started..
..unhappy Boonen..he is alone between lead group and main peloton. Quickstep Team decided to leave tour leader alone..and keep Barredo in front group.
10km. to go..and Cancellara decided to go alone. Now one can follow. Mosquera predicted that this is way this stage will end.
..and we have new tour leader. 2nd stage win for Cancellara
Mosquera had something left in the tank..he is second today. Even when he has far from he's top shape..he can be leader.

Stage 5
Torrox Costa - Antequera
Final stage is also hardest stage...
best defence is atack..tour leader Cancellara atacked first when final climb started.24km. to go..
Counter wave..Barredo, Vicioso..
Mancebo, Mosquera..
Bara stii atacking agairedo takes a lead and butting all out..he does not want to wait Mosquera-Mancebo duo.. Vicioso also can not follow that speed..
Mancebo and Mosquera have passed Cancellara..they need to drop him before the descent..
Hill top..Barredo passes first. Vicioso is droped for good..he is alone now
Manchebo and Mosquera still atacking against Cancellara
Barredo takes it today. It must feel great to seal a tour win final stage.
Mancebo and Mosquera managed to drop Cancellara and have also cought Vicioso.
Rodrigo Gracia stage win was amazing.
Mosquera is back for 2010 and ready. He's 5th place in GC table was great start.
Hugh dissapoitment was Da Pena..I was considering him as team leader in Andalucia tour

Puebla de Vicar - Almeria
Because we are out from Paris-Nice and Tirreano-Adriatico..managment should find races for riders to keep them in shape and build up for Giro. One day race..today. Pacheco is one of the favorites.
Peloton have passed are hllls now mass sprint..all group still together.
Bbox with Arashiro at the right side..Pacheco is there..Rene Obst..Quiterio.
Arashiro is clearly fastest today..Pacheco fighting with Obst.
and another stage win for Bbox..amazing spring continues..they have over a 200 point lead over Vaconsoil in Continental team competition. Galicia holding 9th. place. Pacheco third was ok..but he expected a win here. Veloso 6th is another small bonus.
