Team HTC-Columbia - The End!
Batista15
FIRST STAGE : CLARE - TANUNDA

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/1-2.jpg
It´s the first stage of this year´s Pro Tour!!!And we have to expect a mass sprint when we take a look at the stage profile. There are many riders who want to sprint for the stage win such as Tom Boonen,Pozzato,Farrar,Förster,Ciolek,Allan Davis,Boasson Hagen,Bos,Cooke and Renshaw

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/2-1.jpg
There was a breakaway with 4 riders. For example Scott Davis

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/3.jpg
Bak decided to make an own sprint train with only Mark Renshaw on his backwheel

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/4.jpg
The sprint begins and our team comes on the right side while Boasson Hagen,Boonen and Farrar are on the left side

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/5.jpg
Then Renshaw makes his move and Boonen tries to counter

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/6.jpg
But it´s the first win for our team this year!!!
Mark Renshaw wins in front of Tom Boonen and Tyler Farrar

STAGE 2 : GAWLER - HAHNDORF

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/1-3.jpg
We are expecting another mass sprint today. After the great win by Renshaw yesterday we want to defend the leader´s jersey of course but Farrar and Boonen are angry about the sprint yesterday and they really want to beat us today

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/2-2.jpg
There was a big name in today´s breakaway,Nuyens! And he got 16 KoM points today which brought him the jersey

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/3-1.jpg
Quick Step and Katusha were the only teams who kept the pace really high in the pack

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/4-1.jpg
But the breakaway was really fast today and it came to a hard fight between Nuyens&Co and the pack

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/5-1.jpg
With only 6 km to go the breakaway was still in front but the gap became smaller and smaller with every metre

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/6-1.jpg
The sprint begins for Nuyens and Pietropolli but the pack comes really fast behind them

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/7.jpg
And that´s it!The pack catch them up with only 1,5 km to go!Bad luck for Nuyens and Pietropolli

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/8.jpg
Boonen is in front and it seems that no one could follow him.Pozzato is behind Boonen on the right side while Renshaw in the orange jersey tries to follow ´Pippo´

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/9-2.jpg
No one could stop the Belgian guy today!Tom Boonen takes the stage in front of Pozzato and Renshaw.Great result for us and Mark Renshaw

STAGE 3 : UNLEY - STIRLING

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/1-4.jpg
This stage is gonna be one of the hardest of this years Tour Down Under. The big question for us is if Mark Renshaw can manage the small hills before the finish. If not it will be hard to stay in this great overall position

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/2-3.jpg
Really bad news for Sky and Boasson Hagen. After a massive crash 4 km before the finish Boasson Hagen and many others were down and could´nt take part in the sprint final. Also bad news for our team because Renshaw couldn´t stay in the first part of the pack and so he lost many seconds and many places in the overall!!

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/3-2.jpg
The only one who was still in the first group was Bak but he hadn´t any chance in the sprint.Boonen is again in front today and this is a little surprise because the arrival is not easy but it seems that he is strong enough to manage this sprint

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Columbia/4-2.jpg
Wow ,that´s an amazing sprint by Boonen.I have never thought that he can win this stage but he´s probably in a great shape.Luis Arrieta from Ag2r becomes second in front of Flecha who still got a good result for Sky after the bad crash of Boason Hagen.Well this stage wasn´t really ours but we had 2 great stages before so it´s not dramatically

You really ask that??Smile
I will tell you...
Greipel´s form was just miserable,of course Renshaw´s isn´t the best, too but it´s still 10-15 points better then Greipel´s.Don´t be afraid you will see Andre really soon in Spain. But i´m not sure when Cavendish makes his first race

I´d expect to see him in race, when he won IRL Grin

STAGE 4 : NORWOOD - GODWA

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/1-7.jpg
Well after 3 stages our riders could improve their shape a bit. After the last two stage wins of Tom Boonen we are expecting another mass sprint today and another great sprint by Boonen. But like I said Renshaw´s shape became better the last stages and we are optimistic for this stage

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/2-6.jpg
Again there were big names in the breakaway such as Oscar Pereiro,Mario Aerts and Nuyens but this time they had no chance against the pack and they were brought back 20 km before the stage end

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/3-6.jpg
The sprint trains were already formed except ours!Renshaw was on his own today because Bak and Goss had no energy left so Mark waited for Tom Boonen

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/4-6.jpg
But Boonen wasn´t really fast today and his position was bad so Renshaw took another backwheel

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/5-6.jpg
When the sprint began Renshaw could take Tyler Farrar´s slipstream while Gasparotto and Allan Davis from Astana were in front

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/6-6.jpg
Davis was still in front but on the right side the Italian guy Pozzato came really fast. Also Farrar and Renshaw made their moves

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/7-5.jpg
But Pozzato managed to win this stage in front of Davis and Farrar

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/8-3.jpg
Mark Renshaw became 4th in front of Boasson Hagen ,who wasn´t injured after the bad crash yesterday
