I'm starting to dislike our odds here... I'll need something out of Univest GP, Milano-Torino and/or the Sun Tour.
Volta a Portugal crushed our season ending...
But as long as I beat untal in the final standings, I'll be happy

You may be right about Valverde, I didnt check if Milano Torino was HC or C1
HC it is. Top 5 is a team goal for Vespa. Hopefully, Valverde will crash at some stage. |

Theres a very good chance that at least one of Nespresso and Energie will promote - so youd better target promotion

No wonder that I didn't remember, it was at a long time ago. Nothing is decided yet and who knows who will fall.

Everyone know who did better in Volta a Portugal and in GP Torres Vedras, right?
But Gustavovskiy has less races than I, so outscoring my team won't be easy. Although he won't beat me, he should target promotion as it would be very nice if both me and him promote.

Quite a few promotion chasing teams are going to need/want a big result in Herald Sun Tour, so this could go right down to the wire.
Personally, I think 1 Portugese and 1 Italian team will complete the 4 promotion spots - who, Im not sure

I think Vespa's chance is gone. Needed bigger results from Ginanni at the ToB.
What has cost me most though is Napolitano. There are sprinters in the list of Top20 riders - he just has not been consistent enough to get in there. Should have kept Steegmans when I had him and forgot about building an Italian team..... |

I don't think so.
The deal was a loan deal for a season, with Vespa making up the difference in salary for the season. The transfer then became permanent at the end of the year. |

Ultimately it was a loan, so in the renewals process, Rabobank will have Napolitano, you will have Steegmans. To make it permanent, you will need to do the deal at the start of the transfer season.
The potential problem to this though, is that Stemple hasnt been online since early December, and hasnt posted since August.

Let me be the first to apply for the (potentially) vacant manager's position at Rabobank then. |

If Eurosport relegate, and Vespa dont promote, Eurosport are disbanded
If Stemple doesnt show up (hopefully he will), then as is protocol his team will be disbanded, all riders becoming free agents. Rabobank are probably the strongest team in the game, when you factour in the loaned out Valverde and Devolder, so theres no way anyone else would take over them.

If Eurosport go down, (looking likely), then they'll probably be disbanded if Vespa (looking fairly likely), don't go up. |

Very exciting top battle here. Not too many points left to battle for. Looking forward to that :-)
Also, not ending as the worst CT team is quite an achievement for my Ultimate team :-)

Its Waghlon's 2nd team, made at the same time as your team. His selection criteria was more rider name or rider nationality, than talent
Your Team Ultimate have certainly done well though, considering you missed the transfers, and all but 2 of your riders are born in 1986 or later

Yeah I see now that his team overall isn't better than mine, although Marzio Bruseghin, Artur Gajek and Arturs Ansons are seemingly better than my riders...
Well thanks. I basically chose the races based upon me getting the most possible racedays, more than the races that matched my team as I would've ended in this position anyway. Hopefully next year I'm able to finish a little higher, with the young riders :-)
Especially looking forward to see what Thuaux, Jeannesson, Korzh, Peeters and Ghyllebert can do next season :-)
