Next stage will be decisive. Small hills included..I am shure McEwen can take those samll hills in decent tempo..but if someone decid to atack then this is it.
Today we have strong breakaway group..in last climb Blaudzun, Rigotto and Sabido..has left Zanotti behind.
Lotto riders have in front to trying close the gap. No use and now one team dont help eather leader jersey team.
In downhill section Rigotto moves aways from he's two companion.
At the same climb...Cancellara atacks and first time we see mountain atack in Down Under tour..Cancellara, van Summeren (who was btw. Lotto leader on that tour),Feillu, Pineau.
This is it Milram rider takes the win and leader jersey. Lotto dont have nothing but himself to blame ..that they give to much advantage before chase started.
Blaudzun who was most active to chase Rigotto down..loses he's second place to Sabido.
I forget export results...Here you can follow results.

Last stage
Flat city circuit. Has yellow has gone..I just need to protect point jersey.
Tour breakaway king Eeckhout makes he's move again and he is in breakaway group.
Milram and CSC chasing...I have to wach and learn, they manage great..no chance for escapes.
Mass crash..17 riders has down. I was expecring that will happen on those sharp corners. All Lotto riders survived
Here they come we see Cancellara, Hunter, McEwen, Ongarato, Keisse and Rigotto again in front.
Team Milram wins again..this time Ongarato. 2nd. Keisse..3.rd. Cancellara

Stage 1
Otura Sta. Clara Golf - La Zubia
3. riders in breakaway group Kosontsuk, Baranauskas and Hansen...and nice hills Aerts and Jufre looks realy good and relaxed.
Zandio and Welinga decided to go 60km. before finish. This is most likly to soon. My main guys just sitting in the peloton and trys to save himself for uphill finish.
here we are van Petegem leading a group, Freire ,Feillu, Ballan ,Ventoso,Sanches Gonzales...are all there as they should be. Predictor as presented in final sprint with Jufre (who has showed today exelent form and added himself in possible Paris-Nice start list) and Rodriquez.
van Petegem takes the first stage and the leader jersey. He looks so tyred..not any power left to sprint on..and he sit down on the sadul..he can be greatful that there as line also.

no matter what, that stage is always strange. the sprint is up a 7% incline, so it's always won by a hilly rider with 65+ sprint. weird. |

Stage 2
Vegas del Genil - Cazorla
Today lots of riders falls...first one was Belda Garcia and he takes Rabo raider Kozontsuk also with him. Yesterday breakaway raider getting serious injures and he have to step down.
Eichler, Burghardt and Wiening trys to escape. These are realy dangerous name..no way peloton left them go away.
At the next climb Vicioso(Relax) and Zabala(Caise) atacks. I let to van Huffel try he's legs also..no way..they going to fast..and peloton is in panic they ride now 100%.They going strong..but after mountain top finish they slow down. That was just after the mountain points atack.
Here they come..as yesterday same story uphill finish. We can see Vicioso, Ventoso, Jalabert, van Petegem (in yellow), Kolesnikov and Flecha is a head of all that. Today from Predictor squad van Huffel is most active..and he's position is good. Rodriquez is also sprinting ..but he is to far behind.
eeh..now you see something rediculous.. Flecha has even time to take a drink before finish.
Ok Flecha wins..even serious battle is who's gonna be second. That was close.

Stage 3
La Guardia de Jaen - Jaen
Now on next stages will be for sprinters.
Breakaway group Pronk (Unibet) is leading german champ. Müller is in...and also this time Lotto rider Vansevenant who for some reason not happy with he's assigment to be in breakaway group and he's morale is low. In intermediate sprints Pronk wins them both and Vansevenant takes two 3 rd. places.
Tempo is already high in peloton. But still some teams send he's riders to atack again Burghardt, Vierhouten,Zabala. Same guys again ..team managers seems have lost creativity they just send same guys day by day to atack.
But the end all comes together to mass sprint. Echevarria (right side) is leading a sprint ..but still 500m. to go. Freire is coming fast at left side. Predictor rider wich we see behind of Freire is Rodriquez first time at this season in real action.
Echevarria hangs on..and takes a win. Agritubel duo Echevarria and Feillu has showed good form and great results. 2 nd. place is enough for Freire..he takes leader jersey. Seems like I was afraid to much those hills..this tour seems to be sprinters show after all.

Stage 4
Cabra - Cordoba
Second sprinters stage..flat it is.
Vasquez-Hueso, Bonilla chasing fiat in breakaway group.
At the end has expected mass sprint. T-Mobile leads the peloton Piil is pulling Ciolek for sprint. There is also Lampre sprint duo Napolitano and Bennati. Yesterday stage winner Echevarria, Ventoso. Rodrigues at first find that Freire backwheel is open...and he follows. Later on he decided to swich to Napolitano back wheel..that was good move and choice. Freire wasnt today sharpest in sprint.
Here they go first for..seems like battles gonna be between Ciolek and Napolitano (who gonna be first) and Echevarria and Rogriguez will decide who gonna be 3.rd. If nobody comes back and surpsrise.
This is very close..but seems that Napolitano grab the stage victory and same close battle thrue the end was between Echevarria and Rodriguez...Rodriguez it is. First time in top 3..this is great news for me.
