I tried to edit the potential limits of a rider in the game.
But I had some trouble with it.
Can you change it, so that a rider has another potential for every career, or do you have to open the cdb. file of a specific career and change it in this career to make it work. I started a career, went out to edit it in the Editor and changed the rider's potential but it didn't work out.
It's the first time I tried this so I'm just messing it up... Though, my main problem is that suddenly a Custom.cdb file showed which was just a copy of the Officialrelease.cdb.
While editing in the db without luck is it possible that I damaged the DB in any way so that my game won't work as it should? Cause I started a new career without editing and I don't hope it's going to be messed up.
This was a load of beginner worries I know... |

You can edit the potential in a DB - editing it in a save game won't have any effect. |

I'm not really sure what you mean.
There are already several riders who have been suspended. |

I Guess i did something wrong with the Track DB.
I can see the rider names, but there aren't any pictures of the riders.

There's just a bunch of pink spots. If you take ur mouse over them game crash.
I installede the full db without the beta.
I am having this problem also. I have followed all the steps you have described, I download the PCM.daily's 2009 DB (Final) + 2010 Transfer Update database and followed the correct steps to download followed by above steps again.
Are there any other possibilies?
Thanks |

And you also did what I mentioned in the opening FAQ? Download this file and place it in My Docs/PCM.

Did you try starting a new career after having replaced the Local.cdb? |

I'm not talking about the other Local.cdb files. I'm talking about the files in My Docs/PCM/Database.
PCMdaily2009DB.cdb, PCMdaily2010TransferUpdateV0.1.cdb and PCMdailyTrackDB.cdb.
Anyway, I've attached the correct Local.cdb in the post above.
Can you give me a link to download that three databases?
I downloaded this database but that three parts are not in my documents?
Maybe it's because I have Windows Vista? |

Although I don't like people who complain about not being helped after two hours, here's the DB files:

There's a suggestion thread for a 2010 DB - what do you think? |

We'll see. We may release a December version, but it all comes down to whether I find time for it. |

one more piece of information for you first. The games scouting works with the official database but not any of the new databases. |
