good start, maybe you should peak with Karpets for spring Spanish stage races like Murcia or Leon and then save him for Vuelta? |

STAGE 3 : UNLEY - VICTOR HARBOR
A group of 3 riders attacked after the start.
With only 6 km to go our sprint train is fantastic it looks like the next coup.
So the sprint begins with only 3 km to go and McEwen comes out of Napolitano´s slipstream.Maybe too early??But at the moment he is in front.
Robbie is still in the leading position with only 1 km to go.
But Robbie becomes more and more slower in the last metres.
No chance for Robbie , Ciolek is the winner!!
McEwen came out of Napolitano´s slipstream too early i think. But Ciolek deserves it.Great sprint by him.Second is Bazayev from Astana and third Allan Davis(Quickstep).
Stage results:
1 Gerald Ciolek Team Milram 3h13'51

STAGE 4 : BURNSIDE VILLAGE - ANGASTON
The breakaway
There you can see the trains. Also Katusha is there!
Ciolek takes the backwheel of Bennati and McEwen. On the left comes Cancellara with his leadoutman he obviously thinks that he can sprint for the stage win.We will see.....
OMG look at Cancellara. He is so unbelievable fast!!!
The sprint begins McEwen tries everything but it´s too precipitously for Robbie.Cancellara´s acceleration is amazing. It looks like he´s unbeatable today. What a sprint!!!!
McEwen is so powerful and maybe he will take a top 10 place which will be great for this gradient. But be quiet and just look at Cancellara he doesn´t sprint anymorewhat´s that???Unbelievable move!!!
Of course Fabian Cancellara is the winner and we have to say:Congratulations Fabian.Fantastic stage by him.He won in front of Murilo Fischer and Gerald Ciolek.Next podium for Ciolek. It will be very hard to get the sprint jersey of him. It´s almost impossible.
Robbie McEwen became a good 8th i think.
And here the cheering of Cancellara:
Stage results:
1 Fabian Cancellara Team Saxo Bank 3h19'07

Maybe you should make a 3 man train, that way Napolitano has more energy at 3 to go and McEwen can stay behind him longer.

i usually make a 3 or 4 man train but the they can´t keep their speed for a long time you know.
Denis Galimzyanov is the leadoutman of Napolitano but he can´t keep the fast speed. But he is very young. He is only 21 years old so he will be a great sprinter in a few years
However thanks for your advice Bosskardo |

STAGE 5 : SNAPPER POINT - WILLUNGA
The breakaway
On the last hill of today´s stage there are many attacks.Chavanel,Leon Sanchez,Gerrans,Trofimov and also Pavel Brutt tried to get a little gap between them and the pack.
Then came the downhill section and Brutt was in the first group this was our biggest goal for this stage!Chavanel , Gerrans , Gutierrez who was in the breakaway are there for example.
After the downhill a lot of them tried to attack because they knew that they can´t sprint as good as Brutt. But Pavel didn´t let them go.
And with only 5 km to go Brutt attacked again to reach Gutierrez.
1,5 km to go!Gerrans and Chavanel had start a great attack and Brutt couldn´t follow. So he will only sprint for the podium. His energy wasn´t enough to attack again. It was a mistake to follow Gutierrez because he was in the breakaway and usually we had to know that he won´t be the best in the end.
Only 1 km to go Gerrans and Chavanel sprint for the stage win and a few extra seconds.Brutt tries to defend the third place to get a few seconds, too.
And that´s it!In the end Gerrans was the better one.Chavanel second and Brutt???
Yes Brutt becomes third and can save a few extra seconds for the general classement.Pavel is third now with 9 seconds behind Gerrans.
Stage results:
1 Simon Gerrans Cervélo Test Team 3h28'09
2 Sylvain Chavanel Quick Step s.t.
3 Pavel Brutt Team Katusha + 22
4 Yuri Trofimov Bbox Bouygues Télécom s.t.
5 Staf Scheirlinckx Silence - Lotto + 46
6 José Iván Gutiérrez Caisse d'Epargne s.t.
7 Luis León Sánchez Caisse d'Epargne s.t.

FINAL STAGE : ADELAIDE - ADELAIDE
The breakaway
The wind was very strong today so the pack was splitted up in several parts.
Our sprint train was in the first part. This was our great luck today.
Stroetinga from Milram tries to get away because in a sprint he won´t have any chance. Our train doesn´t let him go.
The Milram rider is still in front but the sprint will begin in a few metres.
And McEwen starts the sprint final and behind Napolitano you can already see Ciolek who wasn´t in the group first. But his team mates helped him.
This means that McEwen has to fight a lot now because he hasn´t a lot of energy left.
But in the end we can celebrate the second stage win of Robbie McEwen.Ciolek came really fast but the stage wasn´t long enough for him.Fernandez and Davis became second and third.Ciolek only fourth. But he will keep his sprint jersey.
However great stage for us!!
Stage results:
1 Robbie McEwen Team Katusha 2h03'54

The breakaway
Pliuschin was the first who attacked on a cobblestone section.
But no one went after him.
After many kilometres Pliuschin reached the breakaway.
And no one of them could follow him.
And behind them Steegmans was the first who can´t stay in the third group anymore. He tried to go after Pliuschin.
And with 30 km to go Pliuschin was still in front with more than a minute.
Gert Steegmans tried everything to reach the leading one.
Only 5 km to go and Gert can see Pliuschin maybe he can still win??
And the sprint begins!
It´s the last km but it doesn´t look like Steegmans can win this race.
Pliuschin is the winner!!!Great attack by him.
But also a great race for Steegmans he really tried everything and he almost got him.I think the second place is also great.
Final results:
