If true I am very happy. Contador will have a more average team and could be easyer to touch for the other contenders. Could make a more unpredictable tour de France.

I still think he will win though.

Would be fun if suddenly the Belgian teams are the best tour teams, from have been the 1day classic.

Uhm, QuickStep? Seriously? That'd be ... weird.

Listen, QSI dubbles there budget, because Quick step pays more now in the team and there will be another sponsor to! And the new sponsor wants a rider for top 3 in the tour. Contador has a gread with QSI. Caisse has no money for contador, because they bought Soler, Bruseghin, Moreau, if they really want to buy Contador , the must find a sponsor, but QSI was them before, they have a new sponsor, and the helpers for Contador, there will be coming also, its just a mather of time, QSI want a team complete, they want to score in the big races and not anymore in the sprints alone.

Matxin has done the right thing: since he can't guarantee there will be a team next year, he freed the riders who had contracts for 2010 from them. Those are Intxausti and Capecchi.

If offense is the best defence, does it mean that defence is the worst defence?

As CrueTrue would say if he was here:

"That's been reported a long time ago"

About a month or so ago, in fact

I searched for Vansummeren and Van Summeren. Nothing notable came up:

Well in Crue's defence it is only definate since today. He could still have chosen not to sign when the first reports came last month Wink

Garmin is stacking up Smile

Very good signings by Garmin. It's always good two have 2 captains in cobbles, in case one has bad luck (Maaskant in roubaix). Kessiakoff has potential, he just lacks stamina, perhaps due to his MTB background, Garmin can boost his talent like VDV and Wiggo.

Stijn_vranken
not only on the cobbles. Vansummeren is a very good helper in the ardennes classics
prevent hangovers --> stay drunk
pozzato, basically the most stupid cyclist around

RIP WW. Gone but not forgotten

Kami
Yea, also able to get top spots in the Ardenne Classics. But also a very good helper for GT's. Evans said he wasted to nominate Van Summeren for helper of the year.

Sure! Agree with both, i'm a fan of Van Summeren and i'm excited with his move, he worked hard for Hoste for nothing in Roubaix, if he had freedom could make something else.

Garmin is coming!! Watch out for 3rd years a charm in the big leagues Smile
