right, I don't think he can compete for the win in another GT the same yeaer.. Place 3-10 is more realistic if you ask me

You're limited to what your country has (other than trips to other countries).
The Tour is (for me) the best grand tour, it's not the profiles that excite me (i actually don't like this years route much), but the whole atmosphere that surrounds the event makes it better.

The climbing time trial in the Giro was beautifull, but the tour has the best finisher this year, the Mont Ventoux. And the Tour also have some hilly stages where some lesser favorites may attack, ppl like Kreuziger, Martin, Kirchen, ...

This also includes (sadly) doping affairs.

I personally doubt it very much.
It's Schleck's to lose. |

Probobly not, Gesink is a good rider, but if Andy doesnt have to ride for Frank he will win it, unless like in the Tour de Suisse, he has a very bad day on one of the hilly/mountain stages and loses time, but most likely that wont happen.

it will be between gesink, schleck, nibali, kreuiger. but gesink is better than schleck in the time-trial and nibali and kreuziger can't stay with climbers as contador, evans, menchov and sastre

I can guarentee you that Andy can make it to the TdF and get a good spot, the only way he can lose is in the time trial, and about Kreuziger, Kreuziger also improved, and will have a better chance at white this year, taking in to consideration his very good time trial. Altough he might not be able to keep up with Andy.

So now I'm in Nice for the Tour start. I saw the Silence-Lotto teambus at the airport (There were no riders onboard) and my mobile phone is connected to Bouygues for the cycling experience. Maybe i'll boy some Silence and participate in A Francaise des Jeux-game. |

One is a TTT, so in fact there are two. And the number of them is irrelevant.
They're a total of 55kms, and that's what matters. That's much less time-trialling than usual. |
