That's ridiculous. I can't believe how someone can even consider doing that. I mean, how does it make sense to even consider it? I don't really know what to say about it more than that I have never seen anything like it. Whoever it was, I'll never respect that person again.

I've only watched the scene once and I got the impression the Rabo rider just tried to hang onto something to prevent his fall...
I think it'd be helpful if someone could provide the replay. Anyway the consequence of that act was completely awful and should be severely punished!
And I must add it was a really nasty finish! Apart from those two falls there was a really dangerous elbowing between a Navigare and a Milram rider (Finetto and Forster?) that fortunately didnt result in anything...

could you go back and correct this person
I checked the Rabo-site to see what they have to say of the matter. And they say that Theo did not actually pull Impey to the ground. But that Theo was about to be pushed into the barriers, and tried to fend it of using his arm, which resulted in the crash.
And the judges at the event saw no reason to persecute him for the incident.
I am inclined to believe this version, as I believe that Theo Bos is not stupid enough to deliberately pull the race-leader down in full sprint, knowing they will most likely crash.

he grabs Impeys shirt, then pulls across. there is no way thats an accident
It seemed like he grabed Impeys shirt when he was about to fall to keep his balance and then when he falled he just holded on to it and took down Impey with him.

they obviously didn't watch the video
the video doesnt show everything. why would Bos want to take Impey down knowing he'd fall as well? thats a ridicilous thought.
