What is an American name? America is one of the few places in the world were you see pretty much anykind of name you can think of. Mine is italian because that is were my family came from. And i would bet his came from holland.

I was thining the Exact same thing. My name is Irish. My cousins name is Latino. My grandparents is German, my cousins are Dutch, My other cousin is Italian. I have a Friend who is part Native American, another who is half Portuguese, another who is descended of Austrians, classmates from the Mid East, East Africa, Sweden, Scotland, Eastern Europe.
Look at Rahsahn Bahatti. He is From Compton, California. Does his Name sound American? So we really are the Cultural Meltingpot of the world. Any name could be American if it is given to an American Citizen.

I am very glad to see that Hunt finally gets a chance as proper ProTour rider, instead of a Unibet one.

Joaquin Novoa has signed on a stagiare contract for CSC. He has been recommended by Sastre.
Kroon has decided to extend his contract with CSC. That means he'll stay at CSC for the next two years. |

They've got:
Perrig Quémeneur, Damien Gaudin, Evgeny Sokolov and Sébastien Turgot I rode against Quéméneur when I was younger.
Those were riding for Vendée U, the reserve team of Bouygues, except for Sokolov maybe, so it's not that surprising to find them turning pro with the main team.
I'm not sure whether Sokolov rode with Vendée U or not this season, but he impressively won a couple of races with Moscow Stars team on the Elite calendar here. |
