Auber 93 - BigMat | Season 2009
SportingNonsense
It would have been tough for Gaudin on Hard, let alone Extreme. Atleast 15th is better than 30th.

Hopefully you will get some points on the board soon - make sure you at least win Eindhoven Pfft

Good to see some of your scouted riders improving, even if you get relegated you will tear up the CT league next season!!!! B)

I will not be getting relegated. After the Giro, Belkov will be at mid level 4 at least, and that means big time stat increase, which can result in him peaking for a second time in some other tour, and hopefully getting enough points to keep us up. Same goes for David Abal during the Vuelta, hopefully we can be sneaky and get points through breaks as well.

I think if i got 3rd places in tour stages i'd stay up... maybe...

Anyhoo.

Amstel Gold Race.

i33.photobucket.com/albums/d87/Cleavers/AmstelGoldPro.png

Apparantly we have someone in our team that is able to get a top 5 here, or thats what the sponsors think at least. Well, they'll have to forgive me if i'm not going to make anyone peak for 3 races where i'll be lucky to get a top 20 place.

You will all also have to forgive me as I have no interest in these races this year, as already said, no one is actually able to get anywhere in them. I obviously won't sim them, but I'm not going to provide in depth analysis.

Malacarne went in the early break of 5 (4 really as the caisse rider just sat on like a jack ass).

They were caught 60km to go. Valverde, Di Luca and TenDam attacked and got away, followed by another 4.

Valverde would beat Di Luca to the line.

Ok, i Lied. I did sim La Fleche Wallonne, and the results were both shocking, and disgusting. Brouzes finished 15th odd, which I'm sure you will all realise is completely unrealistic.

Wait until you see Ciolek... He's just L-B-L away from level 4, and he's already level 80 sprint. And Belkov is just the tour de Romandie away from level 4 too. Plus ya can't ignore my ignorance of the fact. I WILL stay up dangit!

Liege Bastogne Liege!

The final awful classic is here, and the team will perform as per usual at a mediocre level we feel. But not to worry, as Belkov is close to level 4, and Ciolek, providing he survives the hills, will go upto level 4, and one step closer to being an awesume sprinter.

i33.photobucket.com/albums/d87/Cleavers/LBLPro.png

Malacarne goes in the break with +5 daily form.

i33.photobucket.com/albums/d87/Cleavers/LBLProMalacarneBreak.png

But they were caught, and ten riders got away, so thats the points done.

Di Luca wins over Valverde who holds off the charging remnants of the breakaway.

haha, well his aim is to wear the Giro points jersey at one point, so we shall see! He may withdraw from the giro once we hit the big mountains though.

Tour de Romandie Stage 1:

Our riders for this tour are those most likely to do the Giro. Some last minute racing can't do the squad any damage.

A threat for later in the race will definately be Cobo, who looks to be on form/a good rider anyway.

Stage two

A nice mountainous stage, this will test the squad and Belkov out ready for the Giro.

i33.photobucket.com/albums/d87/Cleavers/RomandieStage2.png

Belkov managed to escape with Sanchez, Voigt and Nibali over the top of the final climb. They were trying to make him lead it out, but by being sly he managed to get on Sanchez's and Nibali's wheels.

Sanchez wins, whilst Belkov takes the first pro tour point for Auber ever!
