On topic, my internet was too bad to watch the final kms, but i can't wait to see the replay on youtube.
Maybe i explained badly, but if i remember correctly from history classes in school, Latin people originates firstly from Rome, but also other places. At least saying they come directly from South America is aload of bullshit.
Awesome stage. That took balls.
And clearly Contador is not the rider he once was. Which is typical considering how many years he's been at the top.

His computer told him not to

Fucking retarded Acquarone says today's stage was a mistake.
Now I'd post a facepalm image, but I don't think there's any who makes justice to such idiotic comment.
F***ing idiot

No-one has accused Nibali of doping... must change that
Nibali clearly using "special methods" today, its a disgrace to the sport!
He IS a Ferrari client, don't forget

Latium, currently region of Lazio, where Rome is.
But that was 2000 years ago. The blood mix everywhere is so diluted there's barely a distinction anymore.
For example, my ancestry is a mix of latin romans who came here to conquer and local celtic tribes that were originally from germanic regions

I think we've just found a way to neutralize the Sky guys. We just need heavy rain so they can't read their power meters. GENIUS!

I thought that was the case. Nibali still put time into him on that descent but he lost so much time so quickly i figured he must have had a standstill moment on that hill.
On other hand, feel sorry for Phinney after missing that time cut obviosuly Finished the stage 37 mins down, rode through hardest parts alone, but made it till the end, brave fight.
Thanks for the youtube vid. That was good to watch a second time. Although the steeper climb split them it seems more damage was done on the 2nd "lesser" climb and the descents then I realised at first. Not that Nibali and Sagan taking time on a descent should be a surprise.

I cant read that ,access denied it says.
But what a stupidity, this was the best stage in the stage race for years, yet it was a mistake? Morons, are you here because of fans, or because of cycling teams and their praise? One chance to disrupt robotic eating of mountain kilometres, chance to show who is the proper fighter and it was a mistake, oh well...
That celebration from Peter was epic again.
Mighty win, as commentators said, riders like Cav and Greipel, who should have been fighting this monster for the green jersey in July, can only dream about riding such a stage near the front.
But i hope Sagan will not destroy himself totally, as according to his words, cough is now combined with rhinitis, this weather is certainly not helping.

Also Sagan looking rather strong... stronger than he should be... hmmm
Really? If there is some favourite from all over the world to win stage like this, it is Sagan, this stage could be pretty named after him, when seeing the profile.
Also where you have been when he was gradually building his strenght in such a stages for past three years, since becoming professional? After being junior world champion in MTB and 2nd at cyclocross world junior champs in one year, two years before coming to road at Liquigas (where he destroyed their training measure outputs)...this is hardly coming from nowhere. So please pull your head out of wherever you have it and stop making ridiculous statements. It only shows, you have no clue about why some of us speak about Sky doping...

Like I said before, I think he's just a good actor No way is he ill, otherwise I fear for the future
Anyway, a beautiful race. And anyone who finished (on time or too late) deserves me utmost respect!
I doubt he is lying to his fans on his site, but yeah, it could be good acting, although i think opponents are not counting less with him. They maybe even dont know he has a cough.
Of course it is not so bad, to stop him. In Oman it was lot worse obviously. Cough is nothing so bad for performance i believe (well likes of Kreuziger and Taramae use it whole year as excuse but well).
Hopefully it will not develop to some inflammation again.

I'm not saying he's lying, but if he does this while ill...
Let's hope he doesn't get (seriously) ill for San Remo. It'll be an amazing fight between him and Cancellara, I think

Yeah, i see Cance and Nibali as the big opponents from attacking point of view, we will see.
Speaking of Kreuziger and his excuses, he has some good ones for slight disappointment yesterday. He had two mechanicals. With 45kms to go flat tire, he got back and right before the last brutal climb passage, his chain dropped. So he sits at 12th in GC, but he is mainly sad because he could not help Alberto more and pull for him.
