Norsk Mesterskap - ITT
Norwegian Championships - ITT
Nybö gets provisional best on both intermediate times and in goal.
As expected Boasson Hagen beats the intermediate best and sends Nybö to 4th best on the intermediate. Hushovd is 9th on the first intermediate.
On the second intermediate Hushovd has improved to provisional third 1’33’’ slower than Nordhaug. Boasson Hagen completely shatters all hope when beating Nordhaug by 48 seconds.

It's only 1 championship you lost so far. You can win these. |

Svenska Mesterskap - ITT
Swedish Championships - ITT
Andreas Linden is probably Svenska Cyklisters best bid on a decent result and Linden gets best provisional times.
At least until the first Falcon Christofer Stevenson crosses the line. Stevenson even passes Linden right before the finish. This should be the time to beat for the big favourites.
On the first intermediate time Larsson is as predicted the fastest 45 seconds faster than Löfkvist on a very close second. Ludvigsson is still best Falcon on the first intermediate with a 5th place.
The results on the second intermediate time is almost identical except that Wetterhall is now slightly faster than Löfkvist, but he has almost been caught by Larsson from behind!
Ludvigsson is provisional 2nd behind Löfkvist when he passes the line.
Wetterhall has provisional best time for about 6 seconds until Gustav Larsson passes the line proving why he was named the ultimate favourite for this race.

Norsk Mesterskap
Norwegian Championships
As expected the three Norwegian based teams quicky establish a break together. It is Havard Nybö, J. Ziesler (Øster Hus), Stian Remme and Erik Jarlseth (both Joker). Nybö seemed to be highly motivated by seeing his name on the road on one of the hills.
While the break keeps expanding their lead everything is peace and quiet in the peloton. 100 km to go and the break has a gap of 9’30’’. Time to start working if any of the big names want to win today!
60 km to go and 12 minutes in between. Sky have started to work, but it looks like it’s too late.
With 35 km to go Nybö ups his effort hoping to make the others tired before the sprint. It couldn’t have worked better as the three other riders have to let him go on the cobbled section.
Ziesler, Jarlseth and Remme never manage to regain contact with the Falcon-rider. They do however get caught by Boasson Hagen, Nordhaug, Laengen, Hushovd and Haavardsholm who will fight for the rest of the podium places while Nybö is uncontested for the win.
Thor and Ole takes full advantage of being allowed to leave the others to do the hard work all day.

Danmarksmesterskabet
Danish Championships
The hardest route in a Danish championship in many years. It will make it hard to control and it will get won by a rider with decent abilities on hills.
A break is formed early on with participation from all the Danish teams, Jesper Hansen and Brian Vandborg. The break quickly gets a decent lead, but Saxo-Tinkoff is keeping up the speed in the peloton to make sure the break doesn’t get out of reach. Halfway through the race the break has a gap of 6’30’’ to the peloton.
With 40 km to go Saxo-Tinkoff have brought the gap down to two minutes and their captains Sørensen and Sørensen have started working themselves.
Jesper Hansen goes solo with 33 km to go forcing Saxo-Tinkoff to keep working hard. With 24 km to go he is reeled in and Bøchman counterattacks, but he is not that successful either.
Fuglsang and Chris Anker Sørensen keep attacking in turn and finally they seem to break the Falcons. With 6 km to go the two have a small gap to a group of three Falcon – STARK riders.
The three fight their way back up, but immediately Chris Anker Sørensen attacks again. This time no one follows at first but with 3 km to go he is joined by Fuglsang and Nicki Sørensen.
The latter has nothing to offer in the sprint but Jakob Fuglsang takes full advantage of Sørensen opening the sprint and passes the Saxo-Tinkoff rider with 600 m to go.

Svenska Mesterskap
Swedish Championships
Ludvigsson build a break accompagnied by Balck and Larsen. The trio never get much of a lead, but at least it forces Löfkvist, Larsson and Kessiakoff to the front themselves.
With 40 km to go everyone but Concordia Forsikring and Falcon – STARK contribute to the chase. Especially Svenska Cyklister do a lot of work in spite of being in the break.
With 10 km to got the break is reeled in and soon after Lindau tries to make it on his own.
No one follows and before they realize the seriousness of the situation Philip Lindau is too far gone to catch.
