Oh and also where was Hushovd and Farrar?
Hushovd was in the second peleton and Farrar was injured during the Vuelta so likely to be out of form.
Farrar ended 10th. |

1-2-3 for HTC 2010 team
Cavendish deserved it - GB worked all day, and then despite being an uphill finisb that some thought would be too hard, he goes and wins it - with no final leadout

Ok, I only watched the last few Km's so I didn't know, was there a crash or something?

Yeah just over 100km to the end if I recall. That's why only about 100 riders finished in the peleton.

oh yeah they won one important race so they are the best in the world...
also very boring race , it was even less boring to see evans and his team drinking some champagne in the last tour stage.

Impressive ride by GB today. Must say I'm impressed by Edvald, 8th in the WC is a very good result when you think about the fact that he had no help near the finish. |

Cance
The race was quite boring but the final kms were really exciting.
Cavendish really deserves it, great work by GB today and great sprint by him, I didn't expected he can win on this course. I am happy for Matt Goss and for Jurgen Roelandts, nice 2nd and 5th place for them.

Not even close. Certainly not on the CQ rankings either.

I think it was optimistic on the behalf of that hill, the 3 big races have been won by 3 pure sprinters
