I think at the moment he is still 7 day racer..GT is to much for him. He can ride steady tempo..when favorites starting to atack..ad play with tempo..he is doomed. He is great guy..nice person, who can ride on the limit..and over it.
He is young..at any category. I hope he can still improve.
He realy need a strong manager ..who can get max. out of him.
Best what we got..ever. |

Uran is going to win the white jesrey I think.
Jeanneson will fall through eventually. Rolland is already too far behind. Taaramae will suffer only more and more |

Arnold Jeannesson needs a stats update!
Also I was very surprised to see Hesjedal in the lead group at the start of the final climb, but great work by him, to stay in the top 50 ahead of some good climbers, although probably half of them are injured like he is (Gesink f.e.).
Uhm, Hesjedal rode to 7th place in the TDF last year... he, like Gesink, would normalyl do better. But he fell as well I think |

Yeah thats what I'm saying, that since Gesink is injured being ahead of him isn't that much of a feat. Of course normally both would do better, but injuries have taken its toll on a lot of riders this year. Yeah Hesjedal has been in atleast 3 crashes.

Happy with Uran, after he picked that injury ( same time as Bradley ) I thought he wasn't going to do very well on the first mountain stages, now he should go from strenght to strenght. Jeannesson will be strong contedner, but I think he will crack. Taarame after today even on top form isn't good enough, imo.
Tony is the leader in team. Hagen is merely domestique He had top help Uran all day. At least Thomas is better/ doing so far than Tony
Taaramäe got complete hammer at final 3,5km.
Yep Uran is better GT rider I know..
Tony has been working he's ass off for Cavendish..who has been man at the sprint finishes..who is riding like beast at the front when we have 2km. to go.
Hagen can climb..you can read back my reaction at Dauphine..so can Tony
Think Taarame might be great GT rider. Just work on his stamina and recovery. I hope he doesn't crack up and tries to give others run for their monies on next mountians stages. What do you think of his chances ?
Stamina and Recovery? pfft. Just use a database editor and he'll be winning grand tours in no time |

all talking about aces..
once again for me. Great thing to watch was dream team mates:
Pierre Rolland..all the way with Voeckler
Sylvester Szmyd - Basso was talking with . We should go now..ok.
This guy can alone destroy a peloton..has done this so many times with style. Will probably do it again and again.
Jens Voigt - animal from other planet. |

No, Jeanneson actually did some top 10 (or finished around the 10th position) in sprint stages.
It's spelt Engoulvent by the way. |

Yesterday he was 11th actually in the sprint. He was also 3 times in Top 15 on Sprint stages (13,10 and 12 )

all 3 were really impressive and along with Voeckler and Venendert were the most pleasant to watch today.
Good to see Tommy D up there and possibly shooting for a top 10.

Really impressive by Danielson today!! Just needs to find that confidence to stay there!
Now will come the French saying Jeannessen is the next big thing, will give him to much pressure and he will faulter. But until then, congrats to him! |

Tommy D is the next surprise at this tour from the Gamin squad. Seems to be a recurring theme

I think Martin and Velits are becoming tired from the work they are doing for Cavendish, so they are falling back in the mountain stages.

Actually Peter Velits did a great job today. He wasn't even in the peloton up the Tourmalet because of his bike change! And still lost 'only' 4 minutes

Veltis crashed, and had to change bike twice. Somebody reported that he recored fastest time on the last climb.
Martin is probably tired a little, but still he is not good enough climber to be in Top 15.
