Not really sure what Arashiro was doing there He didn't seem to be riding for the win - rather for leading out everyone else. |

The German commentators said Arashiro tried it and the two other one already gave up. Then they just tried to get his wheel.

Arashiro usually leads for Bonnet, he must have forgotten he was alone today |

Arashiro knew that he was done when he couldn't drop the others, yet 3rd is better than Bbox would have got in the sprint so he might as well try to stay away.

Well, hadn't it been for his effort, he would probably have finished 23rd rather than 3rd Nice to see Pineau get a win, his first since 2005 (?) |

Would have been great seeing Arashiro winning after doing that work to keep the break alive.
But.. whoop Break made it.

Glad to see Colnago are doing so well. Obviously much better than Vacansoleil or ISD could have done or even Flaminia..........

yeaah let Ricco ride!
i need to take a subjective goal for Giro..following Mandri (do you remember that guy)..he climbed up few places and is 190th. now..Wow.
He is not happy with Ag2r..but this result aint gonna give him any contract for next season.

Arashiro was great today. A cool stage, finally. And yes, 3rd is better than finishing like 50th. I didn't see his work during the day, but considering the job he did at the end, he deserved to win.
